Nope, it would be the weekend of October 6th - 8th. That Forest Park area sounds great but I'm not sure it's Lyzzie's cuppa tea. I do plan on hauling the kids to the KC museums during the winter though.

Of course we'd have to see the arch! We've driven past it a bunch of times, but just passing through. My parents found themselves passing thru St. Louis one year on July 4th and went up in the arch, and while they were up there they saw a bunch of fireworks. I bet that was pretty neat.

I feel like I have my own personal travel guide - how cool is that!

oops, sorry, my calendar is off. I linked up the arch for you too.

I must run and move my car now---today is street sweeping day on my block and I don't want to get a parking ticket. When this happens, I have no idea why but a notice is mailed--get this--to my parents' house??? :confused3 I guess for some reason my license plates are linked to their address. Talk about getting snitched on. :teeth: My mom always calls and says, "There is something here from the state...." yeah, yeah, I know.

Good luck with your decision.

eta---the arch link was added to previous post.

Your invoice is in the mail. :teeth: :teeth:

Well, as promised (or threatened.....however you look at it), here are some pics of the kids from last night. It was beautiful out, and they wanted to skate and ride.

Here's Colton:

Well I asked my mom about babysitting Emma so Lyzzie and I can take a little weekend getaway for my birthday... the answer (after some unsolicited financial advice) was a resounding MAYBE! That's usually as good as a yes.

I must have driven too close to the Wendy's on my way back from Target after lunch, because wouldn't you know it, a vanilla frosty fell right into my car! It's pretty good!!

Wow. I need to drive by Wendy's on the way to swim practice tonight!! Should I leave the moon roof open? Or do they come through the window?

awwww Pozey!! those pix are priceless!! wait til Kenny gets up from his nap. I'll have to show him the pix of Courtney :teeth: Too cute!!

lyzziesmom...congrats on the cc in the mail :cool1:

Lin :wave2: welcome to the crazy bunch...

2x...I actually had to end up having it right then b/c he was afraid of infection spreading. I'd had a "bubble" there on my gums for weeks. :sad2: no fun!!

Dznyfan :rotfl2: dreaming of Christmas shopping...that sounds like something I would do :rolleyes1

better get back to work :rolleyes1

Usually when I dream about shopping, it's shopping at Walt Disney World - go figure! :confused3 I guess the reality that Christmas is three months away hit yesterday and I panicked in my sleep!

Pozey - I love the pics!!! Actually - it looks like Courtney SHOULD wear the helmet on her face, if she's doing face plants in the grass!

Well, it looks like the ol' IPod is rated pretty high in customer satisfaction, so I guess that's what it'll be. I might get a nano for myself! That would be so much easier on the flights to Orlando than struggling with the old fashioned CD player.

Hi DznyFan---you busy girl you!!! I used to run payroll for a company---I do not miss the month-end!!
part of what I do is accounting-related, and I have to reconcile and close the month end for receivables and bill my tenants for the upcoming month. Oh, joy.

:magnify: Everyone must be out getting their vanilla frosty. 2excited I got one for you. Here ya go!

Hi Nicole, are you all packed and ready to go? :cool1:

Hi!!! :wave2:

Lesa::If 2x2s doesn't claim that vanilla Frosty in a few minutes, you can pass it over to me. We wouldn't want it to melt now would we!! :teeth:

Nicole::Wow!!! Leaving on Thursday!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: Are you sleeping at night. I usually start to get my "Disney High" a few days before we leave and I find it hard to sleep!! :cloud9:

Hi Donna looks like it's yours, they definatly are not good once they start melting. Maybe 2x2's decided to take a road trip trying to find an open Wendy's. :moped: I'm so bad, made DH go get me one. The picture just wasn't doing it for me. :rolleyes1

Hi everyone! Boy its quiet here tonight, which is actually perfect bc I didnt have too many pages to catch up on.

I had to force myslef to put down Plum last night at almost 2am! I am going to do a quick post and then finish it tonight. Thank you for turning me onto this book its been a while since I found a real "page turner"

Pozey - I cant believe about QVC that is so ridiculous. My MIL loves to order from them but I am going to warn her about some of the big ticket items bc what a pain. The pics of Colton, Chase, and Courtney are so adorable. I just had to laugh at your little lady being so graceful :rotfl2: You guys must have so much fun together.

Lyzziesmom - woo-hoo getaway trip for your b-day :teeth: heres hoping your mom will take Emma. Its great that they are so close so you have the ability to do the quick weekend trips.

Nicole - So right about now I would not be able to sleep AT ALL!! I dont know if you all ready said but are you doing ME? Wouldnt that be hilarious if you and Ash bumped into eachother, like you were standing in line right next to eachother. You know what that would mean it is a small world after all :goodvibes

Hi Donna, Linda, Dznyfan (just think the end of the month is almost over), 2x, Amber, Michele, Lesa sorry if I am missing anyone I have Plum on the brain.

GOODNIGHT :wave2:

oh yes on a side note I did not have a frosty magically appear in my car; however, when I was buying some computer disks a Dove bar somehow ended up in my bag. :rolleyes1 It is so strange how these things happen. :teeth:

Lyzziesmom::Whoah!!!! Thanks for that Butterfinger Cheesecake. The fruit looked too darn lonely, that was what was missing!!!
Planning a trip to Six Flags? I think you and Lyzzie could do everything you wanted to do there in one day. How tall is she? I have probably asked you that before. The height requirement for Batman is 54", but if she's not a coaster kind of gal this may not be important. The new section call "Buggs Bunny National Park is really cute for smaller children. Nathan wanted to do some of the rides there, but with that Raven concert going on the day we were there the park was more crowded than it usually is this time of year.(Nathan is about 55' tall now.) BTW, Nathan really enjoys the St. Louis Zoo. And, my birthday is the 9th. ;)

pozey::Your kids are so darn cute. You can tell by the looks in their eyes that they are happy and loved children. :goodvibes That Courtney is gonna break something else if she's not careful, though!!
Your TV situation sounds pretty frustrating. I think I would be making the upper mgmt. phone calls about now. What brand is the TV? Did you say? I would like to know, if you don't mind my asking.

Precious Pixie::What Plum book are you on? I am starting #2, just a few pages in. I love them too. What would we do without our Cliqueless friends? :sunny: Goodnight!!!
