I sat up and read til about 4 in the morning so I am shocked that I am up and rarin' to go this early---now, my hair-----different story. Pretty darn scary. I think I should start sleeping in a hat---even hat head would be better than this!!


I can't tie up the phone line once again today so I will try to check in later. I had best recieve that call today even though secretly I don't want it---just don't feel like waiting around for it. I know, the cell phone---Wilma has one that is so old that it has rotary dial. No, not a car bag phone.

'Morning, 2x2s!!!! I baked a chocolate cake. It's going to have chocolate icing as well. Also got soft serve ice cream from Dairy Queen!!!Yum!! Not having dinner. A year ago we decided to forgo the birthday dinners. We just have cake and ice cream!!

I have a Tracphone relic. I don't use the cell phone for recreation, so this works perfect for me!! If I use it I pay, if I don't use it I don't pay!! My 13 year-old niece has a pink Razor phone. The month before last she kept text messaging her friends and had a bill over $100!!! My sister made her pay it back, too!!
I remember the old bag phones, I used to have one!!! My cousin in CA. had one made into her Cadillac, I thought that was sooo cool!!!

Welcome home!!! We sure hope that you had a wonderful time in Walt Disney World. You know, it's a brighter day when you are there!! American apple pie goes a long, long way. Little childrens' voices, balloons and a big parade. Oh, forgive me, you are way to young to remember that song. So did you get some good pictures of Mickey and all of his friends?? What was your favorite ride?? Hopefully your mom was careful and did not fall and break something. Oh, please tell us this is true. Were you both good little eaters?? And Lyzzie, did you have a great birthday?? What a lovely way to spend it!! We can't wait to hear all about it so tell your momma to hurry up and unpack and come join us. Have fun in your new house, too. How exciting!!

MMMM, chocolate cake!! delish. I agree with the cake and ice cream thing. It just gets to be too much sometimes.

After the bag phones, do you remember those HUGE phones that made you look like you were talking on a big hand mixer?? It is funny to watch old movies or TV shows that have them. Oh, technology. I just got a vision of Spaceship Earth. I'm getting too excited!!
And, yeah, I would make my daughter pay it back too!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATHAN

Ashley - I have been to sawgrass, we try to go like 1 a season. I am not sure if they had this store while you were still here bc I think it is fairly recent but it is an actual disney store, not one owned byt TCP but one with discounted merchandise from the parks. Everything from housewares to clothing! We last went a few weeks ago and they had a ton of christmas decoration I want to get. I just couldnt buy htem in August and I am sure they will still have them in Nov/Dec. I hope you eye is feeling better. DH and I share an acct and when I want to surprise him with somehing sceil or vice versa we will put it on our credit card and then just make a credit card payment.

Michelle - we have the same problems when going out sometimes, you want something ordered a certain way and you get it a complete other. I must say I have never had this happen at WDW I had a job much like Brees in highschool but not at a bowling alley. I always said after that I would never be one of "those moms" the kind that just boss boss boss and I dont think have ever smiled a day in their life

Precious Pixie:: No, JD's face was NOT on the cake!!!! There were little pirate characters, treasure chest, and palm trees fixed really neat and stuck in the cake. We saved the figures, however!!

Mi mom of 3::Yes, I do sleep, but I guess I don't require as much I as used to? Sometimes I do get a nap in while DS has a tv show on or something. I think I had about an hour power nap last night somewhere between 9 and 11? (I also showed Nathan the pic of your kids! )

Hey Jill!!! How has your weekend been? I need to go to the store (the grocery store, ofcourse ) today too! I am actually dreading it, grocery stores are always packed on Sunday's here!

I just got back from the grocery store and it was a nightmare. This store is normally easy to get through, not today. I was going to do some stocking up type shopping, changed my mind and just got what I needed for dinner tonight. Since it is quite cool here I decided to go for comfort food and make a stew for dinner tonight. Oh crap!! I just realized I forgot the French bread. AARRGGGHH now I have to go back

you were not kidding about the store being crowded . Ijust got the basics and got out of there. I did pick up some very pretty flowers. They just look like fall. They are called...(getting up to go look) chrysanthemums a pretty yellow and deep reddish burgundy. I wish it was cool here I miss fall

Oh, I love mums. I usually get a few pots of them for the porch stairs. They look so pretty for so long in the fall. I have to laugh that you wish it were cool there and I was telling Blake this morning that I need to move to Florida. I want warm [hot] weather.

Oh I forgot to say Blake offered to go back to the store for me to get the bread I forgot.

I guess its true the grass is always greener on the other side. Or in our case you want the green grass and leaves and Ill take the browns, yellows, reds, and oranges.

That was sweet of Blake to go to the store. I gave Nick my cold so he is on the couch with a blanket watching football.
