Ive just sepnt the past hour looking at many websites and trying to find out all I can about personal loans. I think my head is literally spinning. We had a great dinner tonight steak, seasoned potatoes, and peas!

I hope Nathan is enjoying his family bday party and of course the chocolate cak and ice cream!

I hope 2x has been able to get some answers by now. Maybe she decided on another round of pina coladas

I wonder what Lyzziesmom is doing now. Maybe she is unpacking and dreddingall of the laundry OH NO

Doesnt seem like anyone is here, I guess I can keep myself busy for minute or two

Hi, everyone!! Well, the last of the birthday parties are over. Well, except taking treats to school tomorrow. I opted for the easy way and decided to buy bakery chocolate chip cookies and filling some more Pirate treat bags!!! I was going to make cupcakes, but decided that if I see one more thing that resembled a cake right now I think I'm going to be sick!!! Cake anyone??

Well I am heading to bed now. I'll read for a while. I started a new book about pirates . I'm done with Ms Plum for the 2nd time around.

I know the movie you're talking. Doris Day was a simple girl from Upper Sandusky!!! I used to love the old DD movies...they don't make them like that anymore!!

Hi guys, I'm back!! I hope you didn't forget about me while I was gone. I'm trying to catch up on everyone's posts, but there's like 50 pages of them. Whew! Well I am exhausted and I can't believe 10 days went by so quickly, and I have to go back to work tomorrow. I am a wreck, but it was a great trip and I'm so sad that it's over. I did pretty good with pictures, I only took 822! Of course, that's not counting the several hundred that my parents took with their camera too. I'll be going to sleep soon, but I just wanted to check in first and say hi, and I missed you all!!

Donna, I never did make it to the grocery store today.

Jeremiah and I did our 'Spring' (I guess it's late summer/early fall?) cleaning. We cleaned out our closet, and I threw alot of stuff away. Got some of my fall/winter stuff out (I hate that!!!) Got rid of old magazines, stuff like that.

I also cleaned out the refridgerator, and threw almost EVERYTHING away. Seriously, all I have in there is a 12 pack of coke, some bottles of water, and ketchup. I also scrubbed it all down with Simple Green!!! Nothing like a clean refridgerator that smells minty fresh!! I threw EVERYTHING away. I get in these moods, and then EVERYTHING has to go! So, I'm pooped too. Why, I'd love some cake. I'm glad Nathan's birthday weekend went so well!!! I'm surprised that Nathan's school allows you to bring homemade treats in. I remember when I was in school, everything had to be store bought.

Hello all!!

I forgot to mention that last night we went for dinner in the Hill area of St. Louis. I know I have mentioned it before that I live fairly close to this area (about 5 min.) and this is where the Italians settled years ago so needless to say the Italian influence is going strong. I saw several Grandma Bellas while driving to the restaurant but lucky for me none of them put the eye on me.

I finally heard from the doctor. Get this--I hung around my house for two days straight--well, alright, I did go out last night but that doesn't count. So, the minute I leave the house tonight for a quick bite to eat and for church, I get back to two messages from her. Well, she finally called back we talked for quite a while. I have some serious decisions to make. Long story short, (is this possible, you say??) I am basically not responding to the medications that I am on now and the next step is to put me on some that have some pretty risky and dangerous side effects. I'm weighing my odds.

Jill---oh my goodness--I think of that song all of the time when I think of Pina Coladas!! In fact, we were joking singing it last night. I had a really fun evening---I needed that!! That song is so cheesy but for some unknown reason I love it!!
Your flowers sound lovely. I love fresh flowers in the house. They just seem to brighten everything up. Fall is my favorite time of year!! I love when the pumpkin farms start operating and all the the Fall decorations starts coming out. It seems like weatherwise the past several years though, we go from summer to winter and vice versa---fall and spring are limited. That darn global warming.


MImom---Cold weather and stew just seem to go together, don't they?? There's nothing like comfort food!! Oh, and even football--even though---gulp---I know nothing about football. I've tried, I just don't understand it. I like, what's that game in Jan.?? The.....OMG, I can't think of it....I keep wanting to say the World Series but that's not it----you know. Anyway, I like those parties because of the fun appetizers.

Mi - Nick is my DH, we were married 06-05-05 Just thought I'd throw in a little fun fact. I ordered my first plum book off amazon and am still waiting for it to arrive

Donna - I am feeling 100% better thank you. I gave it to Nick though, he seems to catch everything anyway. The report that I got my score on was a my first one I did, It was on the Boston Red Sox, not so much the game but more the fans and the sympbolism that the Red Sox have for them. For my presentation on tuesday I am doing "Why does my body do that" I actually got the idea from yours. I started looking into why lightning bugs light up and then started wondering why my stomach was growling and there it went. The main things I am focusing on are why stomachs growl, why we yawn, why we hiccup, and even why we have gas. I am trying to play with the title though. I think the one I have now is just so so. Oh and Ill have apiece of cake

I love old classic movies to. Nothing beats them. and I agree Cary grant is so dreamy I love An Affair to Remember, and of course Breakfast at TIffanys, and Meet me in St. Louis (I love hearing Judy Garland sing)

Do you believe--and I cannot believe I am admitting this--I have never seen Meet Me in St. Louis all the way through?? I've seen bits and pieces but not the whole thing. I know, I should be ashamed of myself since I was born and raised here.
But I do know Ding Ding Ding goes the trolley.

Jill--Yes, Feb. will have to lend itself to several Pina Coladas---so start warming up your singing voice.
