Who here is not in the "clique" like me? Part 2

Well, it is almost lunch time.......

And my co-workers have talked me into going to a Thai restaurant with them. I'm not a big fan of Oriental food, and I have never had Thai before. But they assured me that I will find something I will like. We'll see.....

I really appreciate everyone's info on TGM. Having to go in busier seasons now, it seems as though we don't get as much accomplished as we used to. DH doesn't like to do the parks in commando mode anyway, but it seems like we spend a lot of time just wandering aimlessly, and ultimately wind up missing out on some of the things we'd really like to do becuase by the time we make up our mind and go to that attraction, it's really busy. I think I'm going to invest in the aid for this trip, so that we can be more productive, but still try and keep the trip laid-back like we usually do. It's not like we haven't seen everything and done everything already anyway, but I'd like to utilize our time more wisely and productively.

I think that you will find stuff in there that will be useful.

Like luvdzne said before......the section on TGM about which parks on what days is worth the money alone.

Our trip this past May was the week prior to Memorial Day weekend. There were a lot of people, but we never waited in any line longer than 15 minutes.

I was in the shower this morning shaving my legs (I know TMI) when in hops the dog. She was determined to be in there she loves the shower. I had a heck of a time getting her out and Madison was no help, she was standing in the hall laughing her little head off. So I had a sopping wet dog and bathroom floor to clean up.

I always get the feeling my dogs are trying to figure out how to do this...particularly when I take a bubble bath. They put their paws up on the edge and do the wind up, but they are little and I think they are afraid to actually attempt it...I hope they don't get ahold of your dog and talk shop.


Weekend plans...this is my weekend off from work so we have lots of plans! Tomorrow Minnie graduates from Puppy classes and then we are going to the State Fair for some good fair food and then to see Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Then on Sunday we are going to church and then my parents house for lunch. Mom and I are going to sort through pictures to make the slide show for my little sisters wedding in December. I love my weekend off!

But, I do have to work today so I best get myself together and start the process!

Another TGM fan!! Darin and I were dreading our first trip last March during Spring Break until I found TGM, the crowds were big but we never stood in line for more than 20 minutes and really enjoyed our trip. Now dh is a huge Disney fan and I think it's because I trip went so smoothly. I totally agree with Pozey the best days guide is worth the price alone. Hope everyone is having a great Friday!!

Happy Friday the 13th everybody!! I've always had pretty good luck on Friday the 13th actually, plus it's PAYDAY so I can't complain. Still haven't heard from that job, but I did get another interview set up at a different place for next week. (Edit: actually, make that two others!) A third place called too, but the guy had such a heavy Indian accent that I had trouble understanding him, and then he said it was a four-month assignment with the possiblity to last longer "if you do a good enough job." I told him thanks but no thanks.

I can't believe some people have been getting snow already! Sheesh, it gets earlier every year doesn't it. I did have some frost on my windshield this morning. It was so nice this morning, Lyzzie has no school today (teacher work day) and my mom came over to paint the bathroom, so I got to sleep in a whole extra hour! It was wonderful. However, she is also watching the neighbor's kid, Lyzzie's friend, and I hear they are kind of trashing the house. The kid has ADD and is into EVERYTHING. I am so not used to that.

What is everyone doing this weekend? We know that Lin is very busy, and of course we are all jealous of 2x (who finally lived up to her name!!). Looks like I'll be going to the casino tomorrow night on my date, I'm so excited! I was going to postpone because his grandmother passed away yesterday, but he still wants to go so who am I to say no?

Back to work now... busy day today!!

What is everyone doing this weekend?

Well, we have season tickets to the OU football games, and we have a home game tomorrow. Unfortunately, we cannot find anyone to watch the kids. Normally, they stay with their grandparents (my in-laws). But the in-laws are in Branson for the weekend. Our normal back-up sitter is also gone for the weekend. So, DW has said me and one of the boys can go to the game. I'm still not sure which one of the boys are going with me.

pozey, how was the Thai place?

It was okay. I enjoyed the food - although I probably did order something that was pretty plain. I think I ordered Spicy Rice with Chicken. It wasn't spicy at all. I'm used to REALLY hot Mexican food. I love Habanero salsa. But it was okay.

Linda....you guys sound very "organized" with your bedtime/nap routines. This is/was not our strong area. I do use the timer some with my yougest...especially for his baths. He could stay in the tub all night.

We haven't seen Open Season. I was thinking about taking my youngest tomorrow but he wanted to go the the football game. They are actually going to the OU game....maybe they will pass by Pozey. We are OSU grads but he couldn't pass up some tickets his co-worker offered him. My oldest DS just ask me for an OU jersey the other day. We looked for one at Hibbets but they didn't have his size...that would have been nice for the game tomorrow.

So...it looks like I'm going to be sleeping late which is something near and dear to my heart.

DH and DS are going to one of their friends house that has a slot car track. I think I might drive to Kohl's and check out their clothes selection. I didn't do too well at the mall last week.

YES.....that's what it means Darn Donna...sorry you have to paint and clean. Actually need to do both of those but I see your needs are urgent (mil urgent) My mom ask me if I wanted to go to breakfast with her and my dad....that would mean get up early...I kindly declined with a big fat NO.

I will do that!! Even the Ralph Lauren stuff at the dept. stores didn't do much for me. Usually I could spend tons, but just couldn't find anything I cared for.
