Well it has been a long day!!

I talked to 4 out of 6 of Matt's teachers after school. Went to his game, froze my heiny off. I was sitting on a cushion, had a winter coat, hat, gloves and 3 blankets and was still freezing!! Then went back to see the remaining 2 teachers.

Came home for a few minutes then ran to the middle school to see how Briana's cheer practice was going, one of the other coaches was there so it was going well. A friend of mine was working the book fair so I ended up talking to her, then helping to tear it down. I got home about 9 and warmed up a piece of pizza for dinner. Ok I'm ready for bed now.

This was Matt's game this afternoon.

This was literally a few minutes later. It was like this, back and forth, thru the whole game

We won 44-0. Matt played QB from the 2nd quarter on.

2x2...I am sooo jealous!! Enjoy yourself and try not to think of us poor schlubs left at home.

Briana got her license a few days before her 18th birthday. She took driver's ed at 14 but never had any confidence in herself and didn't want to do it. It didn't help that she had friends who would drive her places and I drove to school everyday. The worst part was she had a car in the driveway most of the time, that used to belong to my mom. We bought it for her and it just sat there. I finally told her I would NOT be driving her to college!!

When I took DE our in car instructor was my girlfriends uncle and he was moving at the time. She would drive to his house and I would drive home. The rest of the time we packed for him! I didn't have a clue what I was doing

eek, I was just without internet for an hour for no apparent reason than my computer having a tantrum...

Ashley, I failed my drivers test twice...one for the stupid 3 pnt turn and the other for changing lanes into the wrong lane (which I swear I did not...). The third attempt I was so nervous that I cried the whole time, I think the guy passed me because he felt bad! But, I have never caused a wreck and never been pulled over! In fact, people always want me to drive because apparently I'm the best driver they know. Knock on wood.

I remember practicing for my test...I used to muck horse stalls 4 days a week and they had a really long, curvy driveway. My mom would make me back down the driveway to practice. My dad tried to teach my to drive a stick, after 5 minutes we went home.

I miss snow! Don't really miss it when I'm home in MN, but miss it when its still 70-90 in Texas. Driving in the snow though? NO THANKS! It snows a bit in Lubbock, and on those days my phone would start to ring at 7:00AM with all my friends wanting to know how they were supposed to drive in it!

I would! But, TDS doesn't allow vacation rollover and I will lose a week if I don't take it by the end of January.

So, I watched Ugly Betty tonight for the first time while Chris was off playing raquetball. Thats a pretty cute show. It comes across as a combination of Princess Diaries and The Devil Wears Prada. Anyone else watching this one?

So, what's everybody up to this weekend? DH is attending a co-worker's going-away party tonight. I may take Nathan to see Open Season if it's still playing here. He's beenwanting to go, but it just doens't fit into or schedule.
I need to get the spare bedroom clean out for MIL's visit in 2 weeks. We just use the room for storage and a catch-all, will be a good excuse to whip it into shape!!

Well, we all know what 2X2S is going to be up to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning everyone! That is my favorite kind of breakfasat Donna (besides plain old cereal!).

I love 2x2s itinerary, so laid back but totally Disney! It is 37 degrees here this morning our high is 60 at 5pm, brrr where is that frozen smilie?!! Darin is at the church men's retreat and won't be back until tomorrow (he left last night) so I need to think of something fun to do with the boys tonight. I've been so exhausted lately that I get mad really easy I think just from feeling ugh, so I need to think of something to lighten things up round here!

I bought TGM, but I haven't been to the parks with it yet. I got a $4 discount (I'll look for the code). He has a money back guarantee, so if you are unhappy for any reason, he'll refund the money.

I like that he gives the best days for each park (and the reasons why he chose what he did).

It is a LOT to read though. I bought it last year and still haven't read everything. He does have an express planner that helps people with less time. Some of the info you can find elsewhere (DIS, allears, etc) but there is a lot you can't.

He doesn't give you a specific itinerary to follow (although he does have sample tours), so it's not like touring plans/UG.

There is also a forum there, with a lot of helpful people. If you have any questions, let me know.

I am going on Sat to my nephews 3rd b day party at Chucky Cheese! His bday really isn't until Nov but he's leaving at the end of the month to go back to Germany (his dad's in the army) so we are celebrating now! I just need to get him something and I have no clue what! What do you get a soon to be 3yo???

Then after that me, Steven and his sister's are going to go out to eat to celebrate Steven's bday since we were out of town that week. I just realized that 2 weeks ago I was in WDW!

I have used TourGuideMike for the last 2 trips that we have taken.
Do I feel like it is worth it? Yes
Is there a LOT of information to go through? YES!

Now, some of what is on there, you can easily find here in the Dis. But there was a LOT of other stuff I got off his site that helped out immensely!

If you want more detailed info, let me know and I answer what I can.

Dznefan....I used Tour Guide Mike for our vacation in March. It is well worth the money! We went the same time as our neighbors and I used TGM she did not. We had hardly any wait for anything and got to do just about everything we wanted. My neighbors did not use TGM and spent most of their vacation in lines and did not get to do half as much as we did. I would definitely use him again! I think if you click on the link on the top of the main page of the Dis you get a discount.
ETA...I only used the part that he tells which parks and rides are best on what days and times. I didn't have much time to sort through the rest, but just that was well worth the money!


I was in the shower this morning shaving my legs (I know TMI) when in hops the dog. She was determined to be in there she loves the shower. I had a heck of a time getting her out and Madison was no help, she was standing in the hall laughing her little head off. So I had a sopping wet dog and bathroom floor to clean up.

Brittany asked to have a sleepover for her birthday on Sunday . So she is having 4 girls spend the night tomorrow. I hope I am feeling better by then. Her and her friends are planing the whole thing.

Dznyfan...I used tgm for our last trip... it depends if it's really worth it. we were there 11 days and I don't think we really needed it, plus light crowds...if I were going on a shorter stay and heavier crowds..then definitely. Plus w/the money back guarantee..its not bad. He does have a ton of info but his site takes some getting use to. I'll probably use it again. It was basically common sense too!!!!

I really appreciate everyone's info on TGM. Having to go in busier seasons now, it seems as though we don't get as much accomplished as we used to. DH doesn't like to do the parks in commando mode anyway, but it seems like we spend a lot of time just wandering aimlessly, and ultimately wind up missing out on some of the things we'd really like to do becuase by the time we make up our mind and go to that attraction, it's really busy. I think I'm going to invest in the aid for this trip, so that we can be more productive, but still try and keep the trip laid-back like we usually do. It's not like we haven't seen everything and done everything already anyway, but I'd like to utilize our time more wisely and productively.
