Lesa, the directions you gave me worked perfectly! THANK YOU so much!! :)

Jill, Date night is always fun. What area of Boca do you live in? I grew up in Plantation but we always drove all over on the weekends. We probably went to all the same places!!!

Ugh...now a show came on *I'm my own twin*!they have a baby on that was half boy/half girl, half black/half white. :scared: :faint: O.k. time to go to bed!

I will take you up on your offer, thanks! We want to be in downtown or very close. It is hard to really know things from just the internet but I have read about the neighborhoods Loring Park, Linden Hills, and Uptown. Have you heard of these?
2x - Same question :teeth:

Loring Park is supposed to be a pretty good area. Uptown will have a huge variety of people as far as income goes, if my memory serves me correctly. Its mostly nice homes and neighborhoods but also has some that have been around forever with little upkeep. I know more about the Southern suburbs and not a whole lot about the downtown area aside from the theatre scene (which is beyond incredible). Sorry!

Goodnight Lesa :wave2:

Ash we went to Mizner and walked around there and then later went out to coral spring on University they have a mizner like area called the walk and that is where we had dinner.

We live not too far from Mizner Park. The apt complex just jumped on the bandwagon though and became condo conversions so after the lease is up we will be moving. We are thinking about moving to Pompano Beach. Its nice out there and more convenient to our work and school. Pls its cheaper and I wont have to deal with as many "Boca people. I am sure we go to alot of the same places. The next time you go to visit your mom we can meet for a lunch or something. :)

That would be great, Jill! Pompano Beach is really nice, so is Coral Springs. I'm not sure what area Jeremiah and I will move to when we move back home, since Plantation is so expensive! We'll have to see.

What school do you go to?

Lin - great I enjoy the theatre!

You will not be disappointed! There are several theatres that bring in the big touring shows, some that bring in the smaller shows and a ton of regional theatre...my favorites are The Guthrie and Theatre de la Jeune Lune. Then in St. Paul you have my personal favorite of all time, Ordway Center for the Performing Arts. It is GORGEOUS!

Where on University is this "walk"? I lived in Coral Springs for 15 years and don't remember it, this must be fairly new? I moved away in 2001 and I think it's been maybe 3 years since I've been back. It sounds like they are finally finding something to build other than endless strip malls!!

Good Morning everyone!!

Donna, that looks amazing, now where is Lesa? I need to get going ;)

Have a great day everyone!!!

Now, I will say Hi to our night "owls". :sunny:

YourMajesty::I hope your MRI goes well today. It was rather warm here yesterday; close to 80 I believe, but perfect!!!!

Lesa:: That is too strange about the woman that had the baby for 46 years!!
Was this on the Discovery channel? My sister is constantly watching the one about strange tales of the ER, or whatever! I just don't have the stomach to watch a lot of that stuff. In high school I passed out during the movies about childbirth..and it was only a cartoon!!!! :rotfl2: :lmao:
I almost forgot!!
Congrats on 1000 posts!!!! :cheer2: party: :rockband: party:

Hi Michele!!!!! :wave2:

Goodmorning everyone :sunny: Oh how I wish I could stay here and chat all day. I am all ready running late and I just cant pry myself away.

Donna - I love blueberry pancakes mmmmmm

Lyzziesmom - I believe it is fairly new. It isnt setup exactly the same as Mizner but I like it more bc it has Borders I miss Libertys in Mizner. Mizner is actually becoming somwhere I dont want to be the management company decided that they want everything in there to be "coture" they are even going to be ending the leases with a few of the places to eat/drink b it doesnt fit into their mold. :rolleyes2

Ash- I go to Keiser College in Ft. Lauderdale

pozey::Sounds like you had fun today!!! Did you find anything cool at the Disney Store?
Yeah, we had a fun day.

We got a couple of things at the Disney Store. Courtney got a Lilo plush and a Chicken Little plush (they were 2 for $10), and both boys got a journal type notebook.

They had some new long sleeve shirts, but since it is supposed to be in the mid to upper 90s here all week long, we weren't in the mood to buy winter clothes.

Good Morning Everyone!!

Hope everyone's weekend was good. I didn't do much. I went to the Disney Store and bought a few things. I only spent $20.00. I don't think I have ever walked out of there without spending at least $50.. I do want to go back and get a couple other things though.

April and Ashley, the pictures are cute!

Michele, Matt does look like the kid from HS Musical. The prom pictures are nice. My brother wore the exact same thing to his prom. So, Blake got stuck in Amsterdam; he didn't visit any coffee shops did he? :smokin:

Talk to you all soon! :wave2:

Jill, I went to Keiser and graduated from there for Computer Graphics! Do they still do that there? I was in the first class to graduate from the Graphics program, I think there were about 6 of us. I loved that school! I wish I could find something similar here in Kansas City, but all the schools here are either not as specific or waaaaay to expensive.

Mornin'

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

I've got a ton of errands to do today so I'll talk to ya'll later! :moped:

Good morning, cliqueless!

Donna - those pancakes look wonderful - thanks!

Michele - so good to hear Blake got back, and I really loved the pics of the kids.

Lesa - congratulations on 1,000! :woohoo: :dance3: party:

YM - it was a little hot this weekend, wasn't it? I guess it is supposed to stay that way all week. What stinks is that the pool water has cooled way off again, but the daytime temp is hot enough that it looks inviting. Until you freeze your bootie off when you try and get in....

Pozey - so the fair was busy this weekend - I guess with the awesome weather it brought everyone out.

Nothing exciting here, Saturday day spent cleaning/laundering/reading Plum #7. Spent Sat night at the lake then came home yesterday afternoon and watched football. I really was pretty lazy this weekend. We should have our place at the lake set up and ready to go in about 2 - 3 more weeks! :woohoo:

Hi to everybody - Lyzziesmom, April, Ashley, Amber, Linzeybrooke, 2x2s, Jill, Linda, Kim, and anybody else I missed.
