Hi, everybody!!! Not much going on this evening. DH just bought and hooked up our 3rd new wireless router in as many days!! Geesh!!

I threw a few more resumes out there this morning, and I've gotten a couple nibbles including an interview on Wednesday. That's the same day I go to court for Emma's name change, so I only have to break out the nice suit once! It's encouraging to know there are possiblities, just in case.

Crossing my fingers for you on Wednesday and sending some pixie dust, too!!

pozey::Sorry to hear about Courtney's temperature. Is she prone to ear infections? When Nathan was younger he would sometimes run a temp. that would yo-yo for several days. The Dr. almost always found and ear infection.

Kenny looks so focused in his soccer playing. I love watching soccer----probably the only sport I do enjoy watching. I went to a big soccer high school. In fact, many of my guy schoolmates went on to play pro---both indoor and outdoor.
My cousin's son played for a while so I used to go to many of his games. I would love to see Kenny play in person.
I need your corn burner tonight. I am freezing---which is unlike me--usually I'm a hot mama. People at work always tease me because they know if I am at an okay temp, then it is cold in the building.
Your hair sounds cute. Who cuts yours if you cut everyone elses'??
Speaking of Steve Irwin-----I saw a photo of Terri, Bindi and Bob at the memorial service in People, or Us, or one of those. Terri had dark glasses on and Bindi stood right beside her with her arm around her shoulder/neck just looking straight ahead. Broke my heart!! She looks like such a strong little girl. My heart goes out to them!!

Well, if you ever get bored and wanna come to Ohio ... you'll have to come watch him play! This age is so cute... they forget and use their hands, their always tripping and falling over each other, they foget which way to go.. it is priceless!!
That's too funny. The guys here think if I'm ok..it must be an oven Yeah, that is the part that sucks..I can cut everyone elses hair..but I have to go pay to get my hair cut... I go to a really nice salon/spa. My communications teacher in HS went crazy about this place and I had to check it out. Been a client ever since. www.charlespenzone.com it is an incredible place. I am so happy today... I use to spend a lot more on myself before Kenny was born but every since then..I spend that $ on him. Well, in 99'... 2 years before Kenny was born...I bought my mom a gift cert. for a "royal treatment" a full 6 1/2 hrs of pampering...well it expired in 1 yr...she NEVER used it that woman!!! Well...she gave it back and said to call and see if they'd let me use it. She had cancer at the time and was too sick and didn't feel up to using it...she had colon cancer... so today Mike calls and explains the situation... they said no problem, mail it back and we'll re-issue it but you have to use it w/in 12 months That is so awesome!!! It was like $450!!! I could have kicked her tail...but so glad it wasn't wasted!!!

Linda, Kenny looks so cute. Go Kenny, Go Kenny!! Hey, I just thought of something. I dated a guy named Kenny (for 6 years) and he was a huge soccer player. He was even invited to play for Team America abroad. He didn't do it. Like alot of other worthwhile things he didn't do.
And, Linda, do show us pictures!! We want to see your hair. 4"-5" is a good length of hair.

Hi April. Isn't it amazing the opportunities some people turn away ...6 years is quite a long time too. 4-5" isn't much to me. I always let it grow, get it cut... I just go too long between those cuts usually like...twice a year...just not on the top of my priority list. It was most of the way down my back...it just gets too hot.. too much fuss and ended up in a pony tail too much. I like it much more now. yes, my dh Mike is going to be joining us and so is Kenny...that would be awesome if you and your dh can both come!

Donna, I know what you mean...love the deluxes but then I get to thinking ...I really should stay in a value and save that $$$... then I think...I could use that money I save and do this...and this...and this... I guess I just want too many things ...oh yeah...b/c I'm a female you've never seen beauty and the beast or lil mermaid...oh..we have to change that!!! they're very cute!

Hmmm, and I'm thinking I might be able to actually ride my favorite rides even though I'll have Emma along! I'm a thrill ride junkie, so I usually have to skip all my favorites when it's just me and the kid(s). But since some of us might not want to ride anyway.....

Brittany came home today with a C on her math quiz. Now this teacher has given out a calender for 2 months in advance of all the quizzes and homework plus she allows open notes and books for quizzes. So I ask Brittany how on earth she got a C with open notes. She told me she thought the teacher was nuts allowing open notes so she didn't use them. At least I don't have to worry about her trying to cheat!

It is a 6 story bldg in the middle of an office park so I wonder if it use to rent out other floor space while it was growing bc now it is the only thing in the bldg. There is a deli on the first floor that you access from the outside. It is such a lifesaver and they have great food for an average price.

Pozey - is there anything Colton cant do? You must be so proud. Maybe one day he will be the CEO of the Walt Disney Company, why not he is creative, a hard worker, and above all loves the mouse.

Hey everyone

Nothing much happened today. I don't have anything to post.

Well, except that Jeremiah and I are going to watch Robin Hood now. We never watched it on Saturday or last night.

We also tried a new place for dinner tonight- Foster's Grill. Anybody ever tried it? We got yummy hamburgers and french fries, and they had cheese sauce! (Any place who has cheese sauce for the fries are A+ in my book! Hmmm..maybe thats why I love Disney so much!!)

Hey guys---


I somehow ended up at work today---with much deliberation. I woke up about 3am with a terrible ear infection. My jaw was even hurting. I seriously thought about calling in but I must pick my battles right now. So, I went in to find three clients on my books??? I called the dr. at 9am sharp and got an appt. for this afternoon. I was able to leave a couple hours early to make this appt. So, ten days worth of an antibiotic. He told me that he didn't want me on a plane until I could "clear" my ears. I nodded, flashed a smile, said my best mmmm hmmm-----the whole while thinking "Are you crazy?? Do you know how long this trip has been planned??"

The day at work wasn't a total waste though------was able to wax my legs real quick so I don't have to worry about them at WDW. TMI
I had to though----if I didn't I could have subbed for the infamous bridge- sitting leg-dangling pirate while he took a smoke break.



I can't stay for long tonight------since I had a bad night last night I must try to sleep -----yep, treatment week once again--starting tomorrow morning.



Some highlights-----

Jill---they aren't closing Max's at Mizner, are they?? I can't see that this doesn't fit the atmosphere. It's the place to be to sit outside and watch the pretty people and their cars they valet. Not to mention the flatbread and wings.
I used to LOVE Liberty's---was sooooo mad when they closed it!!!! Is the theater still there??


Lyzziesmom-----good luck on the interview Wed. You're right----good practice and who knows---maybe it will open some more doors for you. Go with your gut.



Michele----congrats on finding Matt's ring. Right under your nose, huh?? Sounds like me.

Yep that sounds like the same building, but back then they were only on 2 floors (I think 4 & 5) and they had a big check-in desk and a couple offices on the first floor lobby, and the deli was on the 3rd floor. How weird! It really is a great school, I don't think there's really anything else like it. Darn, I wish they'd offered 4-year programs when I was there. I tried a couple years ago to go back to school but it was just too hard to do it all, I couldn't be mom, student, employee and keep up with the household chores all by myself.

Hi Linda, that's awesome about the spa certificate! Lucky day today, huh? Can you girls believe I have NEVER been to a spa?? I just have such a hard time spending that much money on something that doesn't last. I've always wanted to... I ask my mom for a gift certificate every year for my birthday & Xmas but she thinks it's silly so I get g/c to places like the gas station and the grocery store. Y'know, practical. Ugh, who wants practical gifts??

Have any of you guys watched the new tv show "Heroes"? I hope this one doesn't get cancelled, I really like it! It seems like everything I like gets cancelled, so maybe I just have bad taste?

I think I'm going to shop for a new outfit tomorrow. I saw a darling black suit at Target last week, it had a flippy knee-length skirt with a really nice fitted jacket. Something nice for court and interviewing, plus I love suits because I can mix & match the pieces.

Well I'm off to finish watching the stuff I recorded earlier this evening, and then to bed with me!

ETA: Hi Ashley & 2x - you must have been posting at the same time as me. 2x, hope the treatment doesn't take too much out of you. I hear you about the legs... I actually had to do an emergency leg shave at my mom's house on Friday before my dr. appointment. Weird? maybe, but I didn't know if they were gonna put me in a gown or worse yet, that office has PAPER SHORTS. One size fits nobody.

I forgot to mention one more thing----

you all know (or maybe you don't cuz I'm on your ignore list ) that I ordered the special desserts to be served at our Garden View Tea for my mom and dad. Cindy's slipper and dog bones.

Well, after having some challenges with the ordering process a few weeks ago-----aka nobody knowing what I was talking about-------I decided to call today to confirm the order. Now since Wilma can't be on the computer and phone at the same time, I had to call from my cell---my rotary dial one . So, once again, I get the same thing----no one knows where to transfer me. Crap. I thought to myself. Out loud. Finally, I get someone who tells me the 1900 Park Fare gets all of the special orders. Well, I get transferred and have to leave a message because no one is available---it went something like this, "The person you are trying to reach is making a magical day for another guest at this moment, please leave a message." Well, scratch my head. So, I leave a message. Then I worry and twiddle my thumbs.

About 1/2 hr. later----guess what------the nicest girl calls me back and confirms the order to a tee!!!!!! YAYYAYAYAYAYAY I can't wait!!!! I hope it goes off without a hitch. I told her it was a surprise and she asked if I wanted to have anything "written" on the plates. I decided not to---just what they normally do with the stencils and other decor. I just told her I wanted to make it a very special vacation for them.

Lesa...how old are your girls...I forgot? My boys are 9 and 6 (third and 1st grade)...so were your tempted by the frosty ghost lurking online?

Linda, I have a favorite picture of my boys but it's not a digital. My FIl is going to scan it for me. I'll post it when he emails it to me...not that I don't have plenty of digital. I'm going to have a picture party in late October. It will be so cool. The lady is very talented. She makes jewelry and writes poems to go with the pictures. I'm excited. I wish I had the last ones she did on disc...maybe I could get them.

Hey precious pixie...where did you find #2? Yes, I'm hoping I don't need any rotator cuff repair. My eyes about popped out of my head when I saw all the rehab and recovery involved.
