We were going to pick 1900, but now I have heard Boma's is good, what about Chef Mickey's? It has to be one that is not in a park.

We've not tried Boma's--but are doing so this year. It gets rave reviews for breakfast. We've never done 1900 Park Faire; Chef Mickey's is good, but we actually preferred Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club with Minnie, Goofy & Donald in bathing attire. A lot of character interaction and goiod food. It's not as "busy" as CM's.

We love Boma for dinner, but haven't tried breakfast. Of the breakfast buffets we have tried, 1900 Park Fare was best:earsboy:

While not technically a buffet, we have always liked O'hana at Polynesian. They serve things family style and bring refills on anything you'd like.

I agree! Definately our favorite breakfast.

We are torn between Ohana or Chef Mickey. But I do prefer a true buffet. So CM wins for me. Last visit we tried 1900 Park fare and Boma. Well 1900 was being refurbed so we had preplated food. It was okay but not my taste. Then we had the absolute worse dining experience ever due to our server at Boma. We waited for everything a long time and only got drinks once. He seemed to be having a spat with someone on his phone. Everytime he came out of the kitchen he was on his nextel. At first we thought he was a mgr but my Sis finally had enough and went to find THE manager. She came over and apologised to us and told us she was buying our meal and would credit our DP back.

Then after we left and went to look for animals here this guy comes and confronts me wanting to know if I intend on paying. I suggested he go find MRS **** to get the money and his tip. She had our ticket. He stormed off in a huff. In retrospect the food was okay but again just not as wonderfull as I had expected. The food seemed picked over and mostly dry. Which was odd because we were not there real late.

Boma is the best breakfast buffet.

Chef Mickey's is the best character buffet.

Gotta decide characters or not. You'll win with either selection.

CP was very good.
TH has good food, but it is loud and crowded.
CM is just fun overall, but the food is typical breakfast buffet food.
O'hana was fun...the food was fine...preyyt typicas, but TS.

Can't do CP

One thing some like about breakfast at 1900 PF, the ice cream machine is working then. :rotfl2: so if the kids pick :rolleyes1

I still stand by Boma for food and CM's for character meal.

Have you thought about "Donalds Safari Breakfast" Tusker House in AK?
It is a character Breakfast, plus a similar buffet as Bomas.
The Characters are: Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Mickey and they
are dressed in Safari outfits.
We loved this Buffet last trip and it was very easy on AK day.

No, we couldn't do Donald's b/c we are planning on doing a breakfast on our check out day and won't be going to the parks. We are getting non expiring passes and don't want to use a day. Actually, we are checking out, but not going home- going to Sea World for 2 days and staying off site.

We love O'Hana for dinner. Didn't care for the breakfast, though.

:worship: :worship: :worship: "THE BOMA COMA" is the best breakfast buffet at WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc

I have to vote for Trail's End. Not fancy, but a nice atmosphere. Not as extensive of a menu as some, but has everything we like.

This may come from our camping there many years in a row in the past. But we like it there!
