Who has been taking advantage of the BOGO at Yankee Candle?

Okay, I really, REALLY need to stay out of my local YC store. I've been in there 3 times this week. Once before the sale, the day the sale started, and I went back today to pick some up for a good friend as a just because gift. She's a good friend and has suffered a loss recently. I told her I'd get her some candles instead of flowers and she's thrilled!

The manager told me not all stores got the same scents, and I noticed today there were some new scents out that were not out on Thursday. Problem is, I already have a great deal of what they have to offer!

So....who needs to stay away from their YC store like me?

Oh...and I wasn't familiar with Pineapple Paradise, but now I own 3 of them, including two of the Banana Nut Bread! Sheesh! Why don't I just sign my paycheck over to them!

I noticed today that all of their Coconut Bay candles are totally gone! That was a big seller.

Today they had a lot of christmas scents out. The BOGO accessories are adorable!

Isn't Pineapple Paradise great?? I bought 5 of them, and then bought 2 Granny Smith 22 oz jars BOGO

I have them burning as I type; Pineapple paradise is here in the family room and Granny Smith in the kitchen. Today is the perfect day for burning candles, it's been raining and dreary all day.

Funny I should see this post, I went online today to purchase two housewarmers!! I was so excited to see Seaside Holiday on the website that was brought back!! It is one of my all time favorites! I also bought Brazilian Passion Fruit as well! Can't wait to receive them, I love the World fragrances so much!

I really wanted Pineapple Paradise and Coconut Bay, but they weren't part of the B1G1 sale at my store. I should have gotten Juicy Peach, but for some reason I got White Chocolate Mint and my MIL got Meadow Mist (we split the deal). We also didn't have to pay tax because it's tax free week for hurricane supplies (candles). And ALL 22 oz jars were $19.99

For some reason most of the stores I go to around here are doing Buy one get one 1/2 price! Maybe because they are not company YC stores?

For the Bb-ster: it is a semi-annual sale--the next one should be when? after Christmas--January some time? Some one help me here.

If you get in early, the sets can be a real good deal. It's not all scents, in all forms, though. There are also accessories on sale & car gels.
But, when on line, you have to order early & fast. The stores usually start the sale the next day--but that's not always the case.

So I went on line.

I did: 2 birthday presents, 1 Chanukah gift, 2 Christmas presents & 6 hostess gifts (each groups of 3 votives, grouped in a theme--Christmas holidays, the beach; I'll put them in a cute themed bag or box I decorate).

I had to get a Sunflower, as it will go into retirement again.

The whole store isn't one sale, just select scents are BOGO free and they're usually displayed right in front of the store. At least they are here.

Banana Nut Bread and Pineapple Paradise are in smaller 19 oz. jars, but are only $10.00 each. There are a few more scents included in that size/price, but I don't recall what they are.

I was told the sale would last until the end of the month, so I'm checking back frequently for different BOGO scents. As they sell out, they put out more/different scents.

The sale is for company owned stores (ones called Yankee Candle Company), not other places that sell them.

Coconut Bay was BOGO and Pineapple Paradise was specially poured for $10. I got 1 pineapple paradise and one of the girls put my Coconut Bay candle back out before I could have my SIL go buy it. (I don't have a YC store by me, I had to send my SIL in to the store by her,LOL).

I also got a lighthouse tart burner for $7 (was $20) and 2 packs of xmas tarts for $13. (20 tarts!).

Already got the stuff!! Fast shipping!

Although I'm a little late, I had to get in on this post. We went on vacation to visit my MIL and just so happens she lives 1/2 hour from Yankee Candle Flagship store in South Deerfield, MA. So when I'm there, I stock up for about two years.

I spent close to $800 But it was a great day and I have all the candles and tarts I will need for a few years. My family fell in love with the Peach Mango Salsa scent and some of the exotics like Indonisian Ginger and Canary Island Banana. I have one of every tart that I wanted. I do think the tarts are more scents per $1.00.

I also picked up a lighthouse tart warmer for my mom - She loved it. And a happy chef one for me where the candle burns were the oven is and it appears the chef is holding up a skillet over the oven where the tart goes. I love it.

They are having a sale now until July 4th.

The point of this post is if you can get to a flagship store go. We were there when they opened 9:30 a.m., ate lunch at Chandlers and went back for round two of shopping and did not leave until 3:00 p.m. - What a day!

BEAN!!!! OMG, look how precious your babies are now. So grown up.

Of course we love the same stuff. I love the World fragrances too, especially the Tahitian Flower, Brazillian Passion Fruit and Mediterranean Cypress. And you know how I feel about Seaside Holiday I'm sure...seeing how you were the one to turn me on to them way back when you sent me my very first tart warmer!! You brat, you are the one who got me addicted!! I blame you all the time when John starts whining that we should own stock there.

Blondie, in answer to your question, I am staying far far from YC. I spent way too much money there the last couple of weeks - hit the sale the first day and got enough to last me a long, long time. Until the World scents go on sale, anyway.

I know, probably shouldn't have mentioned the amount but I worked it into my vacation budget and saved for about a year and a half.

Yankee Candle is my one weakness. Well, that and food.
