It's funny, when I read your post, Seafood Shanty came to my mind. We were trying to remember the name of that restaurant because there's one near Vero Beach and DH and I were thinking we want to try it the next time we stay at VB. When we lived in Hamilton Twp. We would drive up 130 to eat there and neither one of us could remember the name of the restaurant until now.

It's the Lobster Shanty. There's one in Hightstown and Vero Beach (a few others I believe). It's funny, last year we went down to Vero and ate there....yet have never eaten at the one by my own house.

Hi Jersey families Lived in New Jersey all my life and many parts of it...
Grew up and got married in Bergen county. Went to college in south jersey at Glassboro State(now Rowan). Moved to Howell when first son was born and now live in Barnegat near LBI. Dont know where I'll be next but I sure hope it is near Disney. Love my DVC and the many vacations there past and future.:yay

Just back from BWV-July 6-13. It was cooler in Florida! And no rain for 5 days straight! We lucked out...but it was crowded!

Succasunna. I just came back from a great 4 day trip, beautiful weather and no rain. Our Kidani 2 br villa on the 3rd floor was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed the resort and the parks. Looking forward to my next trip...I have to plan one.

I'm a Jersey Girl too. I've lived in Mickleton (Exit 2 on the Turnpike) almost my entire life. We bought BWV this year and are looking forward to our first DVC trip in December.

Grew up in Swedesboro and South Harrison - KRHS Class of '85.

Hightstown here (part of East Windsor). SSR owners since 2008. My wife, almost 3 year old, and soon to be (next month) are taking our next trip the end of Nov. Taking my family to DVC for the first time. Have 2 Sav View Studios, and a Value Studio at Jambo. They get the Savannah view, we get the Value. Gotta make it special for them on their first DVC stay.

Currently in East Windsor (WDW and ABS magnets on the van . Lived in Morristown and Somerville till we bought here. We own in VWL and BWV. We're now saving for another add-on for our 20th wedding anniversary gift to each other
