Who feels like a threadkiller - Take 4!

Hello my quiet threadkiller friends!

Sorry I've been MIA. It's been quiet around here, too. We did have some (unwanted) excitement, tho. Our dryer broke. All we could think of was, "great now that we've spent a ton-o-money on the doggie, the dryer breaks!" Tom was at his coffee clatch and told his buddies and one of them has a good friend who has his own appliance repair business....voila! He was out at 1pm and by 1:20 the dryer was fixed! All for less than $150!

I would love to have a new dryer.....just not yet!

Other than that, Holly is doing well. We still can't leave her alone until after the stitches and doctor's ok. However, we're going out to Bucca di Beppo's with 2 other couples on Wednesday (the day her stitches get removed). If the docs say we can't leave her alone, my parents (aka grandma & grampa....seriously, they love our dog) are willing to babysit! Problem solved!

Well, I hope ya'll have a great day! No big plans for us this weekend, but that's okay....I like a quiet life and I have a good book!

Sometimes we get lucky with those appliance repairs. Rick has actually fixed ours a few times.

Good to hear that Holly is on the mend. I'm looking forward to meeting her in January.

I haven't seen her on Facebook lately either?

Hopefully all if well with her and her family.

It's another gorgeous day here.

Okay, call me crazy but I've changed the bedding in that bedroom again

It's staying like this now.

I'm moving the old lady quilt into the other room as soon as I get it painted.

I will post pictures when both rooms are finished.

Colleen has been on her beach vacation for the past 2 weeks (I think it was 2 weeks). She got home today. Hopefully she is busy putting her pictures on the computer to share with us!

I am back

Hubby enjoys vacation more than me I think cause he doesn't hafta fight for my attention with the puters

Went thru my 700 photos today, gonna go thru them and post just my favs-seperating them takes some time...

My DNIL had her baby on the 7th, he went back in the hospital today with jaundice. Mom was admitted today too, she's having serious tummy issues and will most likely be in til at le4ast monday.

I hope things are ok in threadkillerland

Good morning Threadkillers!

I got up at 6am this morning and surprised my hubby with homemade pecan waffles. I ran across the recipe yesterday and it looked good. Plus - it needed only one egg....which was all I had!

When Tom gets home from his coffee clatch, I'm headed to the grocery store! I have to say, watching the dog heal is a bit like watching paint dry! I'll be glad when she can finally be left unattended..... it's always different when you HAVE to stay home, ya know?

Kim - are we still meeting in the parks? Can you tell me what day works best for you and I'll put it on my calendar. I can't do a Wednesday.

Robin - did you get your cruise "planning" package yet? How is the room coming along?

TW - can't wait to see the pics! I'm glad you had a nice vacation. Make sure you stay away from the computer on vacation!

Hiya PD! Can I ask you (again - sorry) where those chocolate covered cranberries are from. Cape Cod Chocolates? The reason I'm asking is the last time I purchased them was before our computer crashed and I had the page bookmarked. Alas, poor Yorick.

started editing my shots today, got copies made at walgreens so now its safe to play with them without worry of losing any. I made Adrian an album first, it's his and Katy's anniversary apparantly and he wants to use something from the trip to frame and give to her.

I repeated the heck out of my scenic stuff so the next step there is to pick out what I *really* like and pull it into a folder of its own.

The people shots all get shifted around based on who is gonna get them. One of my favorites is of Lori (SA's) youngest waiting for the perfect waves to go skim boarding on~

Well then, anyday but Wed! I'm still TRYING to tweak a couple ADRs to add Matt but, our park days should remain the same so, pick your fave park and day. Sun the 4th we have a late breakfast at Whispering Canyon and then MK. Mon the 5th at the Studios. Tues the 6th at MK again (also MNSSHP that night). Thurs the 8th is Studios again. We have ADRS all days but, we can work around those.

Hello everyone, and thanks for the trip well wishes
You guys are the bomb!

Yes we are getting quite excited AND nervous...
Today is my last day at work before we leave...

We have some business we have to take care of and of course it has a dead line for when we will not be here...So its all very stressful..
We are doing our utmost to get it taken BEFORE we leave or the vaca will have to be shortened by a few days....
As Roseanne Rosannadana said "Its always something"

But Albert will go to the girls for the 2 weeks and my Mom is safe where she is, so I'm thinking all good thoughts!

Things are starting to look sorta normal around here. I am working fairly steady subbing in the office at my old high school as a secretary. They like me and are learning how useful I can be around an office...the Principle's right hand person laid claim to me today. Her office is buuuusy. She actually asked me three times this morning if she scared me off yet - you all know I dont scare so easy

Its a vocational school. They teach puppy grooming there. Guess who can come to school with me once in a while and get all purty while I work Bonus is, it costs all of $11 for a full service.

They dont know it yet, but eventually one of the girls in cosmetology is gonna get a shot at fixing my hair too.

It's nice to see you guys heading out on new and exciting travels. Rose and I are most likely coming back down in early december. Any threadkillers gonna be at wdw the first or second week of december???
