My first trip in two years is almost official!

Yes Lori, the grooming is part of the vet tech shop your Courtney is gonna be in at the school Please tell her the note on my car at the end of the day yesterday was a nice suprise too

My birthday was very low key but amazingly pleasant thank you...

Worked til 330, did a little shopping for myself before Rose picked me up for the Phillies game. The game was a really good one! Rose and I had a great time together. We talked about some of the new trips that have been booking thru our travel agency venture and settled on the dates for our trip down to Orlando this December.

after seein that squirrel pic posted I'm gonna make a point to go back and see what I missed while disconnected for those two weeks.

John and work are keeping me really busy, haven't touched any more pics in a few days...methinks I gotta get back on that too~

Morning everyone.

I have the whole house to myself today with nobody to please but myself

So, what have I been doing all morning............ HOUSEWORK

Rick left first thing this morning for an airplane competition in Indiana with a couple of his buddies. They will be gone til Sunday night.

Tomorrow, I am taking the grandmothers and Liz to visit Alex. The grandparents have never seen where he lives, so I thought it was a good thing to do this weekend. Grandpa opted out of going, so that leaves all of us ladies with poor, poor Alex

I might go and visit my dad this afternoon since I haven't been in a long while and am starting to feel a bit guilty.

Hello everyone Happy Saturday,
Last night I saw Courtney Marching Band performance for her competition last night. My goodness I got chills watching it. To see here in her uniform they all look so good.

They have there first competion in West Deptford, NJ tonight. We have a long busy three months. Will all the practiv and competions. I love it.

Robin - how does the house look? Did you enjoy your day alone?

SA - It's amazing to see you kids do things...isn't it? It's hard to believe how fast they grow up.

I spent the day goofing around. I did some bargain (food) shopping! I went to various stores and got some items on sale AND used coupons (the new part for me).

I was surprised how many coupons are available on-line. Anyway, after Wal-Mart, Publix, Walgreens & CVS it turns out I saved appx 45% of my total bill. Not that I bought a ton...about $40 worth....I think this may be my new hobby!

Last night...our Friday night cards with our friends. We always have so much fun. Laughed til our tummys hurt!

Went to a puppy picnic for Akita rescue with John today,
saw some good friends and lots of gorgeous puppy dogs.

We stopped at Pei Wie (pronounces Pay Way) on the way home.
It's a PF Chang spin off. The food was alot better than I expected

But the weather has been so fantastic lately that I'm not complaining.

Nutin much going on here....just crazy work. And crazy Pop. The other night he picked up the dog to go upstairs to bed. Of course I told him to leave the dog alone, he will come up on his own. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Next thing Pop comes flying down the stairs.

Luckily he just bruised the back of his left leg. Elvis was fine...and THANKFULLY so was the wall that stopped Pop.

Then today he let the dog out...I mean out OUT on the street. Took me 15 minutes to get him back in!

Otherwise I got the new Dan Brown book, The Lost Symbol...and I am firmly reading that every minute I can. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD. he is the guy who also wrote The Davinci Code.

I've been to the SCIFI once a long time ago and the 50's a few times.

I wasn't impressed with the SCIFI but I couldn't tell you why now It's been so long that I don't remember

So DU what are things wonderful things that you are raving about???

I do have pics...on Facebook. Anyhooo You sit in the car and watch the 50/60 Sci Fi clips. Its very dark & cool in there ...like its nightime. Always quiet too. A very nice break from the parks.

Hi everyone!

Robin - did you do anything special yesterday? Tom and I didn't do anything on the 8th so we're headed to the movies today to celebrate and then Five Guys next week.

DU - They have Reuben Sandwiches? I love those. However, I'll have to double check about the dressing. About half the time, Thousand Island has Anchovies and I'm allergic. However, if they use Ken's Steakhouse (which they do in other places) I'm good.
