Brer_Papa, I see now that you mentioned Corvette/Classic Car cruises, have you ever heard of RM Classic Cars? They do a lot of car restorations for famous people such as Jay Leno, Tom Cruise, Nicolas Cage and other wealthy famous people?
They are located quite near to us. We know one of the guys who is quite high up in the company and he brings cool cars to our shop all of the time. Multi million dollar cars that they have restored are sitting in our driveway on a regular basis. We have made some parts for some of those restorations
Personally, I prefer Austin Mini's![]()
I do believe RM Classic Cars has crossed my vision in my travels a time or two....I have a friend in Canfield Ohio who restores Classics....a gazillion times more talent at that than I have...so...people like that are good to know...

I would be in a state of drool if there were a lot ofrestored Classics in my driveway....

you prefer Austin Mini's?...cool! You wil never see me get involved in the tired Ford vs. Chevy debates....and the like..
if it's a Classic...then I am gonna like it...
I go to Carlisle Pa a couple times a year...naturally the Corvette show in August...but...i also go to others...I've never met a Classic I didn't like.....
my next Classic i want to get my hands on is a Model T truck...around a 1915....as original as I can get....
a short stor that I may have told before...i took Kara and Corey to Ohio to see some old trucks...there were 2 Model A's on a tailer...around a 1926 or 1928...
anyway...The kids ask me to lift them up so they could see in the cab....so i lift...
Kara says..."Papa...where will we sit?"
I says.."I'll put a couch on the back like Granny Clampett..."
she says "who?"
I had to find the Beverly Hillbillies on Nickolodeon when we got back...
kids! I yell ya...
