They're practicing today and they are flying right over my house!
It's so cool!
We are going to stay at a hotel on the beach tomorrow.
This show is fantastic. It includes:

USAF F-15 "Eagle" Demonstration
USAF F-16 "Falcon" Demonstration

I'm so glad I made hotel reservations 8 months ago, they were all sold out soon after.
We go to the show every year but only stayed down there for it once before.
We are going to have a blast!

Happy Weekend, everyone!

:sunny:

sounds like a good thing to do for the weekend montessori.

Have fun at the beach watching the airplanes

:sunny: :sunny: :sunny: that is what the weather is here today. windy windy windy too. but it is beautifully warm, mid 70's.

Wow Montessori.....that is so cool!

What a great show that will be....

Have a GREAT TIME!!:bounce: :bounce:

Hey Cruisin' .....

Our cruise on the Magic was for 4 days.....4 magical, fun-filled, went by too fast days...:earsboy: :earsgirl:

We went to WDW on 12 /27 / 99....left the Parks and went aboard the Magic on 12/30/99.....and sailed out to sea...

at midnight on 1/1/00, we were anchored joined by the Wonder behind Castaway Cay and got treated to a 20 -30 minute fireworks show...

After the fireworks , we watched the Wonder :boat: sail away...next morning was our day to explore Castaway Cay.....

it was a jaw-dropping and eye-popping
:earseek: Cruise....

It was called The Milenium Cruise..and on the Magic, there was a Special Entertainer...Belle (Paige O"Hare -?- the Singer who did the voice)....and she sang the songs from "Beauty & the Beast"...and other show songs....she was accompanied by her husband who was starring in "Phantom of The Opera" at the time...

We were told the Wonder's Special performer was ""Ariel"...

well...we did take advantage of some/a lot of the scheduled fun....i even got up and did some Comedy Improv.....can you believe that??

Bill <~~~ my name....i think you knew that...

Well back to page one on my vertigo. The neurosurgeon says it looks like a "natural varient" to him and I have probably had it since birth. He said it is unlikely that it is the cause of my vertigo. The brain itself does not look like it is swollen and the cyst does not seem to be causing any problems. The only thing he could tell me was to wait 4 to 6 months and if my symptoms get worse or don't get any better to have a repeat MRI. So tomorrow it's back to my primary doctor to see where we go from here.

The only thing that keeps me going is the fact that I am nowhere as dizzy as I was when this started but I still am unable to drive most of the time and I still have not gotten a doctor's release to return to work.

phil, so you really don't know anything more than you did before?

That is so frustrating when something like that happens and the doctors say, oh, wait and see. It is very hard to just sit and wait.

I hope that the dizziness goes away soon for you.

wow, Brer_Papa, that sounds like a neat cruise to have been a part of. What a wonderful treat to see both of the ships together at the same time. You will always remember where you were when the year 2000 started.

No, I really can't picture you getting up and doing comedy improv .................. you are MUCH too shy and quiet to ever do anything like that.

 :rotfl:

Philaround.....that sounded like some good news even though it is probably frustrating as all heck...

being back to square 1 and the seemingly endless wait with worry could be just a big of a pain in the keister...

all i can say is hang in there....I;ll keep you in my prayers and thoughts..

Ahoy Cruisin' pirate: :boat: .....

Yep...the cruise was pretty cool....

We made our booking request by fax through our travel agent in December 1997...

we didn't hear much until the bookings were made in April of 1999.....

remember the 2K scare?

People would say..."Aren't you nervous about being out to sea if Y2K happens?"

My reply ~~> "Nope...a big boat filled with food...A DISNEY big boat...they won't make us row..."

On a related Y2k matter....as we were getting ready to leave..each child-o-ours...(bless their hearts)..offered to babysit my generator..
 :jester: ...they get their sense of humor from their Mom...

Comedy Improv reply....i set aside my shy and quiet ways....and did it... even had folks come up to me on the ship...point..and say..."Hey...i saw you at the Improv..."

It was a hoot...

You sure booked that cruise far in advance. I think the farthest we have booked ahead was 9 months. We don't usually book until close to the date we want to go. Sometimes just a month or so before cruising date.

Aren't children so helpful ;)

I can think of worse places to be if the "world as we know it is going to come to an end" than on a Disney Cruise ship. You made a good, sound choice there. I was sitting home in the living room waiting for the lights to go out!!!!!

Next time you are doing an Improv Night you will have to let us know so we can come and cheer you on :cheer2: :thewave: :cheer2:

Stepharoonie?????????????????????????

Where are you?????????????????????

You haven't been by to say hello for a long time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything okay???????????????????????

:wave2:

I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I had to take my bf to the emergency room tonight since he was REALLY sick. Maddy was in awe that he had to go to the doctor's and she didn't. I think she was amused that he gagged on the tounge depresser, too :)

Sorry! Hi there! :sunny:

Poor guy, I hope he is feeling better soon. Now Maddy can tease him about going to the doctor and gagging on the tongue depressor::yes::

Glad to hear that you are all still surviving. I hope that you ALL feel better soon.

Good luck on the Disney Job, then you can be our "inside spy" :p

:wave2: :yo-yo:  Hi everybody  :wave2:

BUT....if you are having a quiet night...and want to do something to pass the time....look for something challenging....or try acquiring a new skill....or...do like I do....figure out something that used to be popular....in case it makes a comeback....

something like say....

JUGGLING!!!

:jumping1:

that's right....juggling....

but save yourself some time....don't start off with eggs....even hard boiled ones....very messy....very messy...

rubber balls? forget it...they bruise...on the bounce....when you miss...when you look away at one and another one hits you on the head....

so what do you start off with?

I had that same question....eventually...

so, i call up a buddy...who is a clown...a juggling clown...and he says..."try scarves"

OK!!! except...no scarves....i guess i don't have scarves on my "comeback list"...

so...i look around...and i look some more....AH HA!

pantyhose...

light....aerodynamically similar to a scarf....

OK!!!! pantyhose it is...

wrong...so wrong...

do you know how far you have to rear back to get enough oomph to throw pantyhose high enough?

I about blew an elbow out....

THEN...if you do get enough oomph...AND you get the second pair in the air....

by the tme you are ready to rear back and give flight to the third pair....the first pair is either:

A) on the ground or...

B) draped somewhere on you...or...

C) stuck on the celing fan because as anybody knows...you have more oomph on the first throw than you do the others....

OH!! piece of advice # 2....don't be gullible enough to invite Mr. Smarty-Britches clown over who gave you the scarf advice in the first place...

I got taken in by his innocent "Maybe if i come over i can see what you are doing wrong..." ploy....

he showed up with the whole gaggle of clowns....AND had the nerve to ask if i was interested in taking this act public....

well....i typed this one handed...i am icing my elbow....

I hope we can all learn from this...

:bored: How about one ball juggling, I think I can do that.

I was going to suggest that if Pin Wizard was bored she could come over here and read some of your stories. That would liven up her evening in a hurry.

Oh Bill!! You CRACK me up!!! Juggling!! dh actually CAN juggle. He uses square-shaped, cloth covered bean bags...no bounce-back. :p Altho, a missed one might conk you on the head. :headache:

:rotfl:

My Grampa used to say:

"No matter how smart you are...there's always someone smarter...no matter how tall you are...there's always someone taller"

so sure.....invite Pin Wizard over....

no sense letting my aching elbow go to waste....

do you have any idea how many times i said "OUCH!" while typing this??

a well deserved :worship: to Kim's DH!!

SALUTE!! (OUCH!)

Hi Kim!

bean bags????

why didn't Mr. Smarty-Britches advise bean bags???

CLOWNS!! (OUCH!)

you know....i was thinking....i have come up with an idea  .....

I was on my 15th - 16th flight-o-the-pantyhose attempt....removing a leg sleeve...(i am not familiar with pantyhose terminology)....

when I see Princess Ariel setting front row center amid the gaggle of clowns...shaking her head from side to side...

THEN....while I am icing my elbow...yelping with pain...and look over...there she is....shaking her head side to side...

SO!! I am thinking  of trying magic...and she can be my assistant...

your thoughts...comments?...

thank you in advance...

edited to clarify that this is not revenge motivated...i would ask for a volunteer from the audience when i saw someone in half...

and to note: I kept my "OUCHES" to myself this post....

well.....the magic  hit a snag already....

we can't seem to agree on who gets to make who disappear :(
