Who feels like a Thread-Killer? (Temporary)

Hi Everyone!

Robin - I hope you're feeling better. Gas prices are too high everywhere. Fortunately, one of the benefits of DH's job is free gas for business AND personal use. It's a big deal now....

TW - since yesterday was earth day, why not do a business regarding the environment? Or if you're going to do a brochure why not one of the new travel trends "Farm To Fork" (organic farming, harvesting to gourmet restaurants or B&B's) USA today wrote a great article on it the other day (http://www.usatoday.com/travel/dest...tourism-local-food_N.htm?loc=interstitialskip) or a business that uses green practices? Just a thought. I'm sure whatever you do will be wonderful.

PD - I hope your daughter heals quickly. I love the P&PD to you DD, PD! I think of She sells sea shells by the sea shore EVERYTIME!

DU - I hope you're staying out of trouble!

DalPal....where'd ya go?

Hope everyone is having a great day! I just returned from seeing "Leatherheads". It was a great homage to the screwball comedies of the 30's & 40's....like watching a Cary Grant movie except George Clooney (who isn't a bad replacement, I must say!). The costuming, music and filming was spot on....a must see in my book!

Take care!

It's funny how the reviews say don't go see Leatherheads and yet my friends all say we should...I trust my friends ::yes::

Yes Brenda, scan it over please? I have a box full of Disney and Universal and Sea World stuff...I'm thinking it'll give me a different view on how people put their brochures together.

Whatever I do, I have to use my own pictures. No stealing other people's stuff for my work. That's the biggest reason for my going with something I know or have been to - cause I got photos!

Your suggestions are opening my eyes to more possibilities, thank you guys~

$4.32 for the equivalent of a US gallon of gas is the current price here.

1.16 per liter is what I saw it at yesterday.

3.79 liters in a gallon.

Then the exchange difference for the money.

too much Math!:headache:

:lmao:

too much Math!:headache:

Amen!

When my father retired from the military he did math tutoring. Well, I was his number one (and most frustrated) student! He tried to explain algebra to me - I'm sorry - but to this day, Algebra is just wrong!

3 + 5 = X
What is X?

I'll tell you what X is...IT'S A LETTER OF THE ALPHABET and has NO place in a mathematical equation - that's what X is!

Why people insist on mixing letters and numbers is beyond me!

I guess it would be easier to do Disney & Universal if you have your own pics. If it was my course - and as you know I am NOT the picture taker on this thread - I'd say...DANG!

Since you ARE the picture taker I guess I can say yippee!

You'd kick anbutt in a culinary course tho wouldn'cha Ann!

I envy your cooking ability...we all got skillz, they're just all different~

I guess....

However, if I made a dish fit for a king...once you eat it it's gone. The only way you could immortalize it is with a *ahem* photo!

So...either way...you win!:worship: :rotfl2: :worship:

Evening all.

Not a great day here today again.

We did get the new truck though, so that is good.:thumbsup2

My fever from yesterday returned and spiked to near 104 before the tylenol brought it down to a lovely 103.2:rolleyes:

Felt much better though, even lowering it just that little bit.

I'm not sure what it is right now but I'm afraid to check it:guilty:

Just went up to 3.75 here today. If I found a station at 3.50, I'd buy gas cans and fill them up to keep my own personal reserve!

Today its 3.24 in NJ. Last week when it was 2.99. I saw a guy filling up those red tanks and placing them in the back of his minivan...along will reems of paper towels!!!!!!!:scared1:
I told James...."That is the largest Molitov Cocktail I ever seen"! :scared1: :scared1:
It was so bad that I even thought he might just be a Terrorist!

Amen!

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: 104 Really YOU NEED ANTIBIOTICS NOW!

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: 104 Really YOU NEED ANTIBIOTICS NOW!

My nurse/paramedic examined me tonight and said that fever was pretty high and that I should drink lots and take tylenol and ibuprofen at the same time.

I'll see what he says in the morning.

I'm off to bed now to try and sleep some of this off.

I can feel the chills coming on again:cold:

That's a really high fever Robin, make sure you go to the "other" doctor if it doesn't go away please?

Ok Ann, I win! :lmao:

Morning threadkillers.

Right now my temperature is exactly normal:thumbsup2

But then I think it was that way yesterday morning too and climbed during the day.

I think that I will be spending my day keeping the recliner chair company;)

Have a good one, whatever you do.

Maybe you could spend the day posting 5 more times to get to 17,000! I hope you really are better today. If not get to the doctor as soon as your tempature starts to rise!

Good Mornin TK'ers

Crusin, I am happy to hear you are once again "Normal" !:thumbsup2 104 for a adult is :scared1:

I saw a horrific car accident this am, while coming home from work!:sad2: This is one of the bad things about commuting 75 miles each way too work. Besides the price of gas....one tends to see things they rather not!:guilty:

:flower3:

HI Threadkillers!

Robin - I'm glad you fever is back to normal ~ keep an eye on it. DH had that problem about a month ago. He skyrocketed up to 104º for 2 days and stayed over 100º for 10 more. Make sure you take care of yourself and don't mess with this strain of flu - it's a bad one.

DU - I'm sorry you had a bad commute today. I used to commute about 35 miles, but it took appx 70 minutes a day - it literally sucked the life out of me...had to quit that one!

Hiya PD! I hope you're having a good day today!

DalPal - you comin' back today? We missed you yesterday.

TW - I'm glad you saw the wisdom in my thinking! If you want to come over and take pics, I'm making a traditional English dish...Steak and Guinness pie. I'll let you know how it turns out. I've been really good with the organics and it's going to be 95% organic (I couldn't find any organic puff pastry) and I'm making it with Organic Ribeye steak instead of any ol' hunk of meat.

Take care ya'll...gotta start cooking!

:lmao:
Alegbra I get......Now for Geometry!!!!:rolleyes1

Geometry.....

Square, circle, triangle...
don't try to define them....
they're just shapes!

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, folks!

I am SO anti-math!

Hey I did not notice that I was even that close to reaching 17.000 posts. Thanks for pointing that out.

My fever has been up and down a bit today but so far not as high as yesterday or the day before.

 DU, I agree there are somethings we don't really want or need to see.

I dream of living close enough to you to take pictures of what you cook Ann, hubby still ain't buyin it :confused3

I tolerate the winter's in NJ and only stay here for my husband~

I have been a busy girl...:car:
It was a beautifull day here:sunny:...I am getting to love the drive from my moms place, to town..its one of those twisty, country road, with the over hanging tree branches...
Well the branches are getting all green, and leafy, so you get that dappled sun effect...:goodvibes ....and we go by a sheep farm....The baby lambs are just adorable..running around and playing with each other. I always have to stop So we can enjoy them for a min....Im thinking I should go back sometime and take a few pictures....;)

My mom is doing just great at her new home. Everyone is saying hello to her, while Im there, so she must be making friends...
The nurses have also said that she has spent the last couple of days on the patio, sitting in the sun...She does LOVE the sun...Its nice that they have people to go and sit out with them.

Ann,
Im thinking of making Gobbler Cobbler again tomorrow night...We are babysitting the girls, minus Julia tomorrow. Julia, her mom and dad are going to NYC ..with her French class, so they wont be home until late..and I am thinking about making it for them....I know they would love it...and its so easy...I like using a fresh roasted chicken from Pricechopper..:thumbsup2

Colleen,
I really like the newer colage..I can see so much more in it...:thumbsup2
