That cold sounds like it hit you quick Robin....

I really do hope you feel better soon~

Yes it did hit me really quickly. I was good in the morning, went to work, went out to lunch but by mid afternoon the fever had set in and I wasn't feeling so great.

Good Mornin!:goodvibes

Robin, Feel Better!:wizard:

Thanks DU.

I'm feeling a slight bit better this morning but I'll have to be awake longer before I can really decide.

I'm all sniffly and I feel slightly dizzy with a little bit of a cough but the fever seems gone for now. I wouldn't be surprised though if it returns as the day goes on.

There is good news for today though.

Our truck has finally arrived, had everything necessary done to it and we can pick it up this morning.

That means that we can go this weekend to get our 5th wheel...... finally:thumbsup2

:woohoo: ENJOY.

Speaking of trucks...how much is gas up by you.
Its up to $3.50 here:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I think Canada's gas prices are pretty high compared to our area...

California is pretty expensive too...esp on the coastal highway,

Brenda, I am curious what yours is up to lately too~

loooong, boring day today...

my little car needs work again so I am carless. I was supposed to go to a job fair in Philly but can't now :(

my neighbor is working on his house so Penny is freaking out from the noise of the table saw...

I've got a couple final projects to work on so I guess that will be how my day is spent....

I hope it turns out to be a beautiful day for everyone :sunny:

$4.32 for the equivalent of a US gallon of gas is the current price here.

1.16 per liter is what I saw it at yesterday.

3.79 liters in a gallon.

Then the exchange difference for the money.

Gas here is anywhere from 3.79 to 3.90 for 87 octane - ranging from 4.05 to 4.39 for 91 octane which i have to use, so i'm getting gas from Costco where it's 3.99 -will also go to Safeway where i get $.10/Gln off - but don't know their price this week....it is all REALLY crazy for sure.

Colleen - really love you new collage - have always loved it - but just keeps getting better!!!!

Just went up to 3.75 here today. If I found a station at 3.50, I'd buy gas cans and fill them up to keep my own personal reserve!

It is a beautiful sunny day here. You all know how much I love the winter, but I have to say I am appreciating some absolutely beautiful weather here this pasr week. It's supposed to get to 82 here today! That's about 25 degrees higher than the norm!

Sorry you have to miss the job fair, but at least it's a good opportunity to get ahead on your projects!:thumbsup2

:teacher: I'm impressed that you did all those calculations! You are the Tker mathematician!:faint:

We're back from the hospital (obviously). All went very well!:thumbsup2 DD i feeling great but tired right now. I imagine that will change when the painkiller starts to wear off. But we are picking up a prescription for vicadin (sp?) in a bit.

:wizard: P&PD to your DD PD!

(I really DO like writing that...)

:lmao:

;)

Thank you for the compliments guys~as usual I appreciate every one...

My teacher is really liking my work ::yes::

She gave me a 19 out of 20 on both the Collage and the Wine Label :woohoo:

The collage was too dark and she wanted me to get rid of some of the hairline. The wine label, she asked me to try a different font (the writing was hard to read for her) and I personally want to use a photo of real grapes on the front picture.

I am still stuck on WHAT to do my brochure on. Disneyworld would be too obvious, there are a couple marathons going on at the world I thought I could do or maybe the Magicmeet :scratchin Any thoughts or suggestions on that? It needs to be 8 pages or four double sided pages so it has to have alot of details available to me.

I was over on the Trivia forum and saw their Make a Wish Team has raised almost $20,000 over the winter! That is incredible! This team started via the Magicmeet and raised a little over $3,000 just two years ago. Last year was $8,000 (I believe.)

...back to homework....or maybe I'll wash the little car....:sunny:

Not really. I'm pretty pathetic at math.

I went out to get the new truck and saw that the gas price has gone up, again.

It is now $1.23 which turns into $4.58 US dollars per gallon.

Just thought I'd give you that lovely update;)

what if you did a "TRIP" brochure....maybe it's a trip to the world or to the Magicmeet or even someplace else in the US - but included all the info to get from whereever someone might be to that destination...a total complete brochure with all the travel - accomodations - amenities - fees - etc....??

That's a good idea....thank you Brenda~

anybody else got suggestions?

I will be working on this all weekend :faint:
