It's funny how the reviews say don't go see Leatherheads and yet my friends all say we should...I trust my friends ::yes::

Yes Brenda, scan it over please? I have a box full of Disney and Universal and Sea World stuff...I'm thinking it'll give me a different view on how people put their brochures together.

Whatever I do, I have to use my own pictures. No stealing other people's stuff for my work. That's the biggest reason for my going with something I know or have been to - cause I got photos!

Your suggestions are opening my eyes to more possibilities, thank you guys~
i sure will

Robin - doing okay???? Gosh - that is / was one high fever...i have some great antibiotics but Dr. Marie tells me i have to take them all....

Betsy - i am doing really well - only working 4-6 hrs / day so usually home by 3 pm & just kind of not do too much - but the school spring fest is this wkend so every night i do have to post all the $$ for dinner & raffle tickets...but that's not too difficult. Went to Dr. this a.m. for removal of some of the stitches - rest will come out next thursday. I am really really happy with the results.
:cloud9:
I'm with you Ann re: Algebra & Geometry....hopeless for me except the basics - somehow tho - DS is great with those subjects along with chemistry....2nd in the school i think...DO NOT KNOW where that came from....def not me

Hope everyone else is doing well -

I sure hope tomorrow is better.

:guilty:

Dont know much about it, but it seems that the DIS banned many members over the w/e.
:confused3

Our very own Mirthmaiden was one who was banned.:sad1:

I saw something about that but I was not around when it was all happening.

I have been known to take a look at the offending site from time to time but not very often.

I'm not registered there, nor have I ever posted there.

Good Morning TK'ers:goodvibes

So far so good but I've only been up about 15 minutes so I will reserve judgement for a bit.

I didn't cough too much this morning but it's a good thing none of you have web cams and can see me because my hair is such a tangled mess:confused3

I must have not slept very peacefully last night:scared1:

Morning kaw, where is this list? And I'm surprised that the powers to be would allow such a list to be posted here unless of course it is posted over on the not to be mentioned area?

My first trip was in February 1978 with my parents and 2 younger sisters. I was 16 and this is the first vacation we ever went on! We stayed at a Days Inn in Kissimee. Surrounded by fields. We weren't to far from WDW, but we were surrounded by farmland and there was 1 gift shop we could walk too. I remember my sister's and I walking over and getting my mom shells painted to look like roses and glued to plastic stems for Valentine's day. I'm sure we thought they were beautiful :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: We flew out of JFK in NYC to Orlando. My first flight. I remember being served hot meals then too. We also rented the headphonesand it was the first time I ever heard Bob Newhart do stand up comedy. I remember laughing out loud and disturbing the people around me. He's still my favorite comedian. My Dad worked for IBM so through their we got some deal where we got all e tickets. I remember giving away the extra tickets to people when we were leaving and them being thrilled because they were getting a handful of free e tickets. I guess they felt like we feel when we are walking into a park and sonmeone who is leaving gives us fastpasses for Everest or some other great ride! We also went to Seaworld, which I loved!

Morning all.
Beautiful day here too!

Morning! Enjoy the beautiful day. We are supposed to have rain this weekend, but with any luck that will convince me to clean this house over the weekend! We are having a bar-b-q on Mother's day and we need a clutter clean and a surface clean, followed by a deep clean here!

Morning!

DU....there is a list of people that were banned. I think it's around 40 so far.

Morning Kelly!

I like your first trip stories guys!

$220! That's amazing!!!!!

I do remember staying at a Days Inn near Water Country. There was NOTHING built around there yet...I remember driving from the hotel to MK and seeing nothing but trees. It was raining really really hard, we got a good ways up the "driveway" and my parents (mom and sdad) turned around and took us to a wax museum instead. We spent hours in there, I wonder if it's still around :scratchin

We drove to FL in a pickup truck with a mattress in the back. The pickup had a cap on it and it was a fairly new truck. My mom drove straight thru whereever we went so my sister and I got good at switching off in the navigator's seat. One parent and navigator would sleep while the others were up front.

I can even remember the layout of the hotel, I have no idea why I can't remember going to Magic Kingdom :confused3

Hi Kelly, so far we only have one threadkiller on the list... :(

this thing is gonna be ugly for awhile huh?

My first trip to Florida and Disney World was also in 1975. I was 18 at the time.

I went with my mom and dad and 2 brothers.

We towed our trailer down all the way from Canada and stayed at a trailer park but I don't remember which one or where.

I do remember it had a really cool swimming pool with rocks and waterfalls and stuff though.

I remember a bit about going to the Magic Kingdom.

We went in August so it was very very hot at the time.

I remember it was my first experience with what I affectionately call, Cattle corrals:rotfl2:

Hey! This thread dropped to page 4, no-one's allowed to give this thread the kiss of death unless it's me ;)

The thing I remember most about my first trip is worrying that it'd never be that good again and I'd be disappointed!! I shouldn't have been a worry wart :lmao:

Cruisin, glad to hear you haven't coughed so much today. That's a looooong trip with a trailor dragging behind!
