I havent started the gift wrapping yet...I'm waiting til hubby gets home so I can show him the gifts Santa brought

Good day

I've spent the day doing laundry, cleaning the house and other putterings.

My parents came over for dinner, which I didn't have to cook because Sundays are now, father/daughter cooking days

They made butternut squash soup, chicken breasts with some sort of spices on it, brown rice, carrots, warm Italian bread and cookie bars for dessert.

While my parents were here we spent the time talking about our upcoming trip.

Hey Colleen, we are leaving exactly 2 weeks after you are. Almost to the minute. We don't have a departure time set but it will probably be early morning (middle of the night ) too.

Sorry I've been missing....worked on Sat 7am-7pm and then dashed off to a Christmas party...(it was okay) got home around 1am then up early for church this morning, then to DS (she who has no name) and DNeice's Christmas play (DS, DF, DM, DS..Ann and Tom went with). It was very cute. Then off to a Christmas Cantata (?sp). Which was also very nice. Now I'm pooped.

Colleen, can't wait to see you, your mom and daughter. DH can come if they like, or not..... I will be home all day and you have my cell number. What time do you think you'll arrive?

Ann, still unsure what to do with DH Birthday. We are definitely waiting till Jr gets home.

Cally, you have to be excited and nervous. DH HOME SOON!! Your childrens pics are adorable!!

Lots of Woo-Hoos here! Colleen & Cally, both this upcoming week - Colleen is leaving us , but Roger is 'joining' us! Safe travels to both/all of you!

Thanks uraken, but I didn't get a single gift wrapped and I'm having quite a time just typing this. I think I pinched a nerve, somewhere, because my right hand and forearm have been useless since about 2 am. Funny and yet frustrating. I feel paralyzed most times, but then this morning, when I tried to do my hair, for the 2ND time, I just had to LOL because I couldn't do even the simplest thing. When I am able to "get a grip", it looks like Jim Carrey's "the Claw" in Liar, Liar so Kelly keeps getting freaked out - funny freaked out, not scared. It's like perpetual numbness. I've dropped and spilled a LOT of stuff today! And, I had to sign my name at the grocery store, and started with a scribble! I had to tell the cashier what was wrong, because my siggie was soooo bad!

It was my mom and by the time I got to the phone she hung up Right away my cell phone starts to ring Anyways, I am up now.

Kim, I really think you should take some time and get that problem checked out. Have you ever gone to a chiropractor? That's who I would check with first if it were me. But then again we love our chiropractor. He's a great guy. I usually won't let him touch me though because I don't really like it but the rest of the family goes quite regularly. I think I will be visiting him AFTER vacation because I'm feeling that my shoulder is out of place. I can't lift my left arm very high without it hurting

I have stayed home today..because Ill have to go shopping every other day this week for one thing or another...Im sure....and its only going to get more crowded...So I figure I should rest up for it ...

Sultan pepper is OK ...I guess..he is not getting worse...I keep thinking he seems a little better...but it might be wishful thinking...He seems to have a hard time..walking straight and and acts a little weak...right after he gets up from a nap or after laying for a long while....but seems to get better after hes been up for a bit... ..he IS eating but still not the dogfood he has eaten for the last five years..he eats canned dogfood now and his bones(milkbones)...Id say his teeth might be bad...but he eats his bones and their really crunchy and that doesnt explain his mobility problems...It all just something I cant get a handle on.. ..and Im the person everyone comes to when their dog(or cat)is not well... Im just stumped

Hi All

Well my only free (nothing scheduled) day was busy. First DS, DH and I all went to the gym (torture!). Then came home got cleaned up and went to the movies Syriana (not worth the $$). Then we went stocking stuffer shopping (family tradition, we draw names then all go to the same store and have a limited amount of $$ and time to get as much stuff as possible to put in the stocking). It's a lot of fun, we usually do it on Christmas Eve, but DH has to work and since we all were free this afternoon...
Then I was off to the grocery store, and just put the Lasagna in the oven!! Then I'll get ready for bed, work the next two days (12hour shifts) and on Thursday Colleen and Family will be here!!

Betsy sure hope you figure out S&P's problem.

It's amazing how some days I'm okay and other days I just freeze all day long.

I probably have to go out and take Liz to her dance class tonight for 9 pm. too cold to go out so late at night
