Right now the kids have taken over the kitchen and the candy cane cookie making... now i dont know how much of this we can eat..but they sure are cute..

Thank you I was loving the moment they were so cute and funny ..

One of the cookies my youngest made was so funny... it looked like a man with legs and when I told him that he said "No, it's a mint!" I guess you had to be there.. he used white dough and put red peices all around it.. it looked like legs and arms

Hi Everyone!

Uraken - I LOVE skyline chili! I've never had it in Cincinnati, but I've had it before! It's gotta be pretty cold up in Ohio! Stay warm!

Princessa C - the pictures were adorable! In years to come, you'll treasure them!

TW - I don't know if hubby is coming on the 22nd or not. He wants to meet you, but he's not sure about dinner.

Tinknutt - is your DH going to dinner on the 22nd with TW? Mine said he'll go if yours goes, but we both know he's freaky about Carrabbas (why, I don't know). So we can have him meet us at your place after dinner and unwrap our presents.... Also, on the 28th when we're at WDW, we're going to spend the night and then spend some time at DD's place. I know you were thinking about doing something with your DH's bday - did you want to do it early, later or just have the show go on?

Well, I'm gonna scoot. I've had a lazy day today with all the rain! I did get presents wrapped!

Ann AND Tom!! WOW, what great news! Wasn't Tom retired? I'm curious to know what brings him 'out' again? Who's gonna watch Holly?

TN, Betsy, Robin, you must've all been busy today, like me. Love the holidays and BDs, hate the stress tho.

I took a mental health night off last night, knowing I had ALL the gift wrapping ahead of me this weekend. I watched a couple TIVO shows, and Kelly (sorta) & I watched Bewitched, I thought it was ok, cute. Today, I got maybe 1/2 the wrapping done. and some laundry. At least our gifts and the Santa gifts are done, and back in hiding. Also, I got a wonderful call from my dear, dear friend - you know - the friend you don't see/talk to much, used to be BEST friends, but you pick up right where you left off.......well, she called, and made my night! 2+ hours, and we could've talked more. Unfortunately, her situation is worse than mine. She actually has a king-size bed in her living room - her bed - while her husband sleeps in their bedroom! I guess they'll NEVER invite company over anymore. They've been married at least 20 years, and mostly miserable. Seems strange to find myself thankful for being less miserable than her.

While I might complain, I refuse to be down about it. It's Christmas! Time to enjoy!!
