Guess what I got in the mail today! .....

I got my applesauce finished...and watched a couple DVDs as I did it.....Someone on this thread is very talented...and very brave....I just loved it...a feast for the eyes and ears...

No spoilers here....Ill talk about it after everyone has seen them....But I do agree with Kim...talent runs in your family Robin....very enjoyable...

AND....Kim!....Thank you for the goodies!...I added a couple of things to the mix....hope you dont mind...I do think Robin should send you the extra at the end of the line...If you dont mind Robin....Kim should not miss out on the goodies...seeing she started the goodie train ....

Id say what I picked but I dont know if Im suppose to...Im very happy with them though!

The bag is started but she hasn't gotten back to working on it again. Won't take long once she gets going on it though.

IF you've found the fabric, send it on up. The bag will get done for you.

Just make sure that you send enough for me too

We don't need a whole lot per bag but if you sent 3/4 of a yard that would be more than plenty. I think last time you sent 1/2 a yard didn't you?

That would be enough for the bags and some left over for something special

Hi all !

And a new Hi to YepsenCP!! Welcome to the TKers...were a friendly sort of group from all over!!

It rained all day . After finally getting to the post office, then the gym, went to the spa get together...fun, then came home and made homemade lasagna (full fat loaded with meat, sausage and cheese) for DH and DS, and I made a second one (eggplant lowfat turkey meat etc...) for me.

Can't wait for the package to arrive with the DVD's and goodies!! Can't wait to add to it. Ask Ann, I love to give......

Hi ya Ann, miss ya again, and I have to work tomorrow and Wed. Maybe we can lunch on Thur or something.....???

Okay Ophie, are you working on your school stuff? How far are you? I guess I can wait till November for a meet but I definetly want to plan it!!

Well, I have an interesting story for you today.

Liz and I went shopping this afternoon and at the checkout I hear the girl offer the lady a "senior discount" special for today and would she like to take advantage of it. Of course the lady says sure 10% off purchases for those 55 and older.

So, I say to Liz, if she offers the discount to me too, I'm going to take it So I got 10% off my purchases today too. So the young lady thinks I look 55, oh well

Another thing is today I booked our November vacation. We decided to go on a Royal Carribean cruise out of Los Angeles. We fly to LA on Sunday November 6 and take a 4 night cruise leaving on Monday and then we fly home on Friday November 11.

I have booked the cruise and the flights.Now I just have to find a hotel for the night before and some sort of transportation from the airport to hotel and from pier back to airport.

Actually, I got forced inot doing something else. I have some paperwork beauracracy crap that's in review with the school right now and I've been dealing with that stuff basically since my last TK post.

I guess I can wait till November for a meet but I definetly want to plan it!!

Robin a RCC cruise!...out of L.A.?...Where does it stop?.....Sounds like alot of fun...RCC is the last cruise line we used...I think I liked them the best...Of course I have never done a Disney cruise...Some day maybe...

The cruise goes to San Diego, Catalina Island and then on to Ensenada, Mexico and back to LA again.

We cruised with Royal Carribean once before on the Monarch. We are going on the Monarch again. It has been in for drydock since we were on it last though, so there will be some changes.

When we were on it last it sailed out of Fort Lauderdale and went to Key West and Cozumel and had a sea day too.

I didn't mind the last cruise we did with them, so I'm sure this one will be okay too. It's an awfully long flight though to get there first. That's why we are going the day before, so that we can rest up and enjoy the cruise to it's fullest.

We were on the "Nordic empress".....It went to nassau, cocoa cay and another stop I dont remember...It was alot of years ago...But I do remember it was fun!....The best time we had was when we swam with the dolphins..an excursion out of Nassau...

Yes, you can't beat cruising for a nice vacation. You can be as busy or as relaxed as you choose to be .

All of your decisions are pretty much made with regards of where to eat and evening entertainment.
