New Disney Visa "Inspire" card

Yes, definitely use something more rewarding for Tokyo Disney. The Disney Visas will not recognize them as Disney purchases, even the other international parks which are owned by Disney won't work.

Can confirm that our hotel package at Disneyland Paris gave us 1%.

Luckily I only paid the deposit with my Inspire card and then after seeing that paid the rest off with a better card.

Quick question for other early adopters— we only ever get the one gift card at sign up right—nothing else comes as a gift card? I swear I recently saw another email about earning a gift card but it’s very possible I hallucinated it.

As far as I understand the other credits, folio and tickets, come as points, ie disney dollars on your credit card which can be used to pay yourself back or can be transferred to a redemption card. Anyone else have a different take on this? I haven't even received my card yet so I don't have the personal experience - yet.

edit: Looked it up,

200 of 2000 = Disney reward dollars

100 off Tickets more than $200 = statement credit.

Yep, just the initial gift card, but have been getting emails about getting the Rewards Card to load my dollars.......maybe that is what you imagined?

Ticket Statement Credit Help Request:

I want to go online and purchase a ticket that is at least $200 so that I can get the $100 statement credit. I do not have a trip planned yet. We are going in December 2027. In April 2027, I will purchase another ticket (different guest) for our stay so that I can take advantage of the $100 statement credit again next year.

What happens with a ticket I do not use? If I purchase it for let's say April 2026 and I never use it, does it just stay in my MDE? And when I book next year and we have firm dates, do I just add another 5 or 6 days to it and pay the difference for the dates I plan to visit?

Hi all, so I have a long trip coming up, staying in DVC, 10 days in the park, tickets already paid for. I’m trying to maximize the Inspire card rewards. I’m thinking if I do the following
-make sure Inspire card associated to the DVC room
-charge shopping, dining, snacks to my magic band that is linked to my DVC room
-buy lightning lanes with this card

I just have to make sure I spend $2000+ then I would get the $200 discount for hotel charges. $300 for $1000 spend in first 3 month. $100 for theme park ticket credit. Is that correct?

I believe the 200 for your lightning lanes would be a fully separate pool from the 2k spend.

I think that's the idea: Lightning Lanes are reportedly coding as tickets, so $200 of Lightning Lanes gets you the $100 back for that, other $2000 charged to resort to get the $200 back.

I made my husband an authorized user, there was nothing about a fee when I added him. Or when my first statement came.
