DU, I suppose that you could have a nice little funeral and bury Buttons ashes in the backyard.

OR

You could throw them in the trunk of the car and carry them around for a couple years while you think about what to do with them He won't be in the house that way

He could be a very well travelled dog by that time.

Personally I would probably bury them or sprinkle them somewhere.

Cally, congratulations on a job well done. You should be proud of yourself to have done such a good job.

Liz has to write her College of Nurses exam next week. That gives her the licence to actually practice the skills she has learned as a nurse.

hummmm - defintiely some intelligent people at your vets office....we had our Niner cremated and his creamains are in a gorgeous "completely sealed" maple box....he was my baby and i couldn't part with him....

I never take the remains....I would rather remember them, alive...
I agree with Robin, tho...As long as you are getting them...You might as well find a spot where he was happy...(A park, where you walked him??.), and quietly sprinkle the ashes there....

I believe you asked me beofr which boys Im bringing...We are bringing the 2 oldest boys...Mike(8), and Doug(6)....
THEN...Next year...We bring ALL five (17YO, 15,13, and the twins,8YO by then)of the girls(my other sons kids) I dont know how they did it, as the original plan was the 3 oldest girls...the next thing I know we have all of them coming..
This means renting a VAN ..and having to book 2 rooms( value)..as there will be 7 of us..... ...So as soon as we get back from this trip...we will be in major saving mode....
THEN....
in 09...We will be taking, the next oldest boys,... David(he will be7 then), and Billy(he will be 6 then)..
So the next few years are already planned...BUT there are still 2 more DGC left...THey are just way to young ..so I have another Just MIke and I, some time in the future

Well Its my Thurs.... So I better go get my Mom going...

Beaches and cream, AND the Beach Club lobby, are very easy to find...Just go through the Iternational gateway...and walk stright...The first resort you will pass ..is the BC, the Beaches and Cream is in between the BC...and the YC...
Ann passed the YC is the S&D....and the boardwalk and Spoodles and ESPN, is across the lake...
All very easy!

I picked Buttons up this morning! Wow he is in a beautiful little box (he was only 6 lbs alive)with a brass plate name tag! Fancy!

Buttons fav place was either right in front of the TV on his bed or laying on the deck in the sun!

I'll figure something out! eventually! hopefully soon!

Woke up way late today, the phone rang about 1030 and threw me outta bed...it was the mall calling. Apparantly, whoever was supposed to open bellas didn't! I messaged the boss to make sure he knew and he did not.

My son is studying to be a radiologist at school. One of my first duties upon returnin home will be to get him back in school. He tried to register and the school had some strange reasons for him not to be able to sign up for this semester. He was really confused by whatever their reasons were so I get to figure it out for him when I get home.

The guys went fishing, sounds like they may be home now.

Rose started packing up the kitchen, my packing will be simple but also needs to be started soon.

Du, do you have yard space where buttons can be buried? We have a spot in our garden that has our iguana in it. We marked it with a large stone so we know where not to dig. I had seen a garden spike once that had a nice saying on it about lost friends, from the moment I needed it tho it cannot be found. I think if I check Lillian Vernon's catalog I will find one there.

Hey Colleen,

We've actually changed our plans for Saturday. I'm not sure if we plan on eating before or after the TK meet but we are saving ESPN for Sunday.

Hubby's cousin is coming down to visit us for the day. We plan on watching the Falcons/Texans at ESPN. Then I don't know what we are doing afterwards. We don't plan on hitting any parks until Monday.

I could give you my cell as well... if you want to get together and have a drink. But that's only if you want to

I dont think we could meet poolside at the beach club...I think you have to be staying there, or the YC, in order to get in the pool area....
