Let me say first, I am not surprised.

Some people are so quick to comment until they catch one they don't like

My first today was going to a beach here that we have never been to before.

We have done so many things here and been so many places here that we have been to before that it is nice to do a few things and go a few places we have never experienced before.

I even found a new spot for sunset shots yesterday and alls it took was John asking a local kid for another way to get to the sound.

DU~ they just don't know / love ya like we do!!! I can't believe your momma hasn't had a McD's chsburger before...how cool that she had one now!!! I haven't had one for over 12 years....but that's another story!

Colleen....can't wait to see all your photos...hard to believe you're on the winding down side of your vaca~but sounds like you've had an awesome time and relaxing too!!!

Hiya Threadkillers!

I just turned my computer on for the first time today. I've been busy today - cooking for DNephew coming and I had a lunch date with a girlfriend. She's facing a possible cancer diagnosis, so we took our time. Went to a really nice "chicks" place - Mimi's cafe - yummy food and good atmosphere.

Well yesterday's dinner was really good. Tonight is spaghetti with sausage & meatballs (his request), a green salad, olive salad, garlic ciabatta bread and that pear/lime/gelitan salad I made yesterday.

Sorry you got a slap on the wrist DU regarding your post. It sounds like you're more "Felix" than I am.....but I do like a clean house!

TW - sounds like you're having a great time still. How come you've not posted any pics? Did you just bring the blackberry along?

Robin - I know you wouldn't leave me behind....thank you! I've never been to this end of WDW that we're going - I'm looking forward to it!

Hiya CADZNY! I hope you're having a great day today! Any news in the strawberry world? Does your son have a game this weekend? My Neice marches with her highschool band, so we're all about highschool football on Friday nights!

I love Mimi's too....and fortunately i can drag the boys there too! they have some great great salads so i don't feel too guilty going there~So sorry to hear about your friend...hoping they've caught in time if it does end up being cancerous and will turn out okay....

DS does have a game this weekend...it's not too far from home and is supposed to be a nice weekend...not hot but not cold either....so that makes for a great Saturday game! That's so nice that you go to your niece's HS games ~ does she play an instrument in the band? ...i miss the Friday night games (like we had in HS), but this year there are 4 games scheduled for Friday nights.... looking forward to those!

We got up before the sun today, rose and me both got sunrise pics. We took all the dogs for an early morning walk. The dolphins were out, that's what rose wanted to see.

We all went out to a buffet breakfast and then the guys went fishing and rose and me have been by the pool. I had yet more laundry to do, I am all caught up now.

Yes Ann, no pictures yet cause I only have my blackberry. I have tons to share when I get home!

This vacation is winding down, I started gathering stuff together for the trip home. My out is the fact that I have stared putting our end of the month trip together for Orlando! As it stands today, I am bringing Britt and rose is bringing ed. If I have to, ill make an adr for wcc for two to get our extra folks in for lunch on Thursday.

Du, you had complained about not making this meet but I recall one you, Betsy, Mike, Aisling and me had that noone else here had gone to...

Next year you need to stay over, close to home p not!

Thanks ya'll for the kind words about my friend. It's remarkable how up-beat she is. They feel - if it is cancer - that is has a really high survival rate. She's the type that doesn't worry until it's time. I'm the type that excels in the worry department!

I did color guard for two years as a teen, I got to travel quite extensively with them. Its a great experience, you and mary should be proud, drum major is huge!

Who is coming with you Ann, husband or sister?

I think our epcot day will start early. We like to do fw. Last fwf rose tried some wine up in fw. There were wine seminars the public could sit in on in the front center building.

Betsy and Ann, you have lunch adrs in Canada right? Do we meet when you finish lunch? Betsy, you could call my cell, still have the number?

Robin, this is presuming you come into the park at lunch time. Do you or Liz have a cell phone?

Cally, what's your plan for Sunday? You are doing espn Saturday night? Any particular game you plan on seeing?

I have actually eaten at Beaches and Cream before but I'm not exactly sure how we got there

We were kind of "resort hopping", checking out lobbies etc. Somehow we ended up at Beaches and Cream for lunch.

We like to do the "front" part of Epcot too. So far we actually prefer that part.

So if we go, we will be in FW for sure.

Liz and I both have cell phones. I can send you the number .

File this story as bizarre......

For those of you who are new or just dont remember....Back in May one of my Moms dogs, Buttons passed away. It was a night & the next day I had to bring him to the Vets. I paid the $100 fee for his creamation and thats that!

For $200.00 one can get the remains back.

Today while taking a shower (getting ready for work) My Mom starts banging on the door (so I think FIRE!!!!! ). She says that the vets called about Casey's ashes! (Casey is my Moms other dog...who is very much alive). So I told her that as soooooon as I get out I will call them back!

I call back the Vets, and at first the girl has NO idea what I am talking about. (this was about 5 minutes after They called ) . I asked her if someone from her office called (i mean there are only about 4 people who work there). After some time, she came back to the phone and said. "We have Caseys Ashes for months, is anybody going to pick them up?"
I told her Casey is very much alive, but we had a dog Buttons who passed back in May.

"Oh yeah! Whatever.....Buttons!" she said.
I said "I was under the assumption that we arent getting the ashes back, and even if so ...No one ever contacted us to do so!"

"Well we are now!"



'Okkkkkkkkkkkkay. What do you want me to do?"
"Come get them"
"Okay, I will be by in the am."

"Very good"

Hang up!

2 minutes later.....the phone rings....Its the Vets office.

"Hello Mr. Disunc, we looked through the papers and indeed only a cremation was paid for, However a Cremation and return of ashes was done....So at NO EXTRA charge to you, please come and get the remains tommorrow!"

"ok'!

So now tommorrow am, I got to go get poor buttons remains!

BUT WHAT DO I DO WITH THEM???????????????????????

Also my Mom is flippen, she dont want them in the house! I told her "Well there goes your Christmas present!"

I felt like a heel if I said NO I dont want them. This is 4 months later.

So strange!!!!!!!

hey everyone... just a quick HELLO!

I'm exhausted... what a long busy day! The awards ceremony went really well. I really can't explain what I was feeling. It was a combination of sadness, excitement, nerves, relieved..... just a lot of emotions!!

I wish you all could of experienced it with me. This past year has been hectic but I'm making it through and I'm not embarrassed to say I'm proud of myself.

Well I have pics to share but I don't have time to post them right now. Hopefully I will get to this weekend if not tomorrow.


After the ceremony we went out to lunch and did some running around. Then I came home and studied for another test tomorrow!!! I think I'm done studying for now.

I wish I could talk Disney with you all. I'm not too familiar with the Beach Club but we have been to ESPN Zone and the boardwalk plenty of times so I think I will be able to find it.

Ahh, I said this would be a short hello.. but it's turning in to a looooong hello

Well that's all for now folks.. if I don't stop now this will turn into a novel!
