I started cleaning yesterday too... I'm spreading it out so I don't have to do so much at one time. ;)

I did guest bathrooms, windows (kids like to put their prints all over them:rolleyes: ), washed linens in guest room (ya never know who may need to stay the night ;) ), straightend and swept out the garage(grandparents sit in there to smoke).

Today I need to vacuum, mop the kitchen, dust!!! Tomorrow I shall clean the other bathroom.

And yep, you have to be outside to fry the turkeys! :thumbsup2 We still need to get another fire extinguisher as well!

Not to jump in, but I have been fryuing turkeys for about ten years now, and have som tips. The first is YES it must be outside. And another one is to spend a little money and get a better frying set up. Cabelas sells some great ones. I have seen some at the stores, and they look flimsey and could fall over. The one I got (as a present) was a King Kooker brand and DW got it through Cabelas catalog. Cast iron and really stable and it cam with a metal shely that bolts to the cooker. that is a lifesaver, as you can set the preped turkey on there and use it to lift from there!

later:cool2:

Soooooo Robin...where'd ya park the car??????

Uhn, I just left it in the driveway, blocked in, in front of Rick's van:confused3

Figured I'd let the old man across the street have his day of glory:rotfl2:

Lull him into a false sense of superiority :lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Cabelas!!! Not for him. He is soooooooooo ANTI Hunting (cabela is a big hunting store). When his son grew up and got married, his sons FIL is a MAJOR hunter. So Bobs son is now into Hunting.....IT KILLS HIM!:lmao:

Funny story here....Bob is this Huge Former Football Player, 6'4 275lbs "Tough as nails looking, built his houses with his own hands kinda guy". He is VERY intimidating to those who dont know him.(which is why his wife always sent him to open school nights :lmao: ) Yet he is the MOST gentle man I ever met. Very much a pacifist, not a week goes by that he is not rescuing animals, on Thanksgiving he goes to the Salvation army & CLEANS UP after everybody...cause NO one wants to do that, his house is filled with all the towns homeless & freindless on Christmas eve.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:(thats where I will be:eek: ) People are shocked when the get to know him! (and he gets teary when watching Charlie Brown Christmas.....I just called him to break his chops about that) In other words he looks TUFF, but is a woos!;)

I think I have ONE pic of us together....young 20's (& I was 19)! People didnt take pictures (back in the day) like they do today! Such a shame, cause I was ADORABLE!:goodvibes
