Yup, and that was a GTY category 12 that I got the price for;)

Wow! That's an expensive four days :faint:

Thanks for the support again guys, John and I do have very large hearts...it's a downfall I am willing to accept ;) I believe in Karma, I do good and pray for good in return~

SNOW!

Remember, PD asked for the snow if y'all want to send it anywhere, send it her way please~

It's nice to come by here and see all the visitors...the delayed conversation takes some getting used to in the beginning but I love coming by every day and seeing all who stopped by~

Happy Monday Threadkillers

All you give away (with a kind heart)...comes back to you 10-fold!

Hiya Threadkillers!

Robin - that's an expensive cruise...but probably worth it!

Well, it looks like we'll have 2 more for Thanksgiving, so I have to get two more sets of wine glasses (fortunately, the place I buy them from sells them individually).

The bread is cubed and baked with olive oil, rubbed sage, salt & pepper ready to make for stuffing. The mystery pecan pies (half cheesecake, half pecan pies) just came out of the oven. I found out NO ONE can print my menus - the card stock is too thick, so I'm going to print them on vellum paper and attach them with ribbons. I still have to press the linens & make the brining solution....but I'm making progress today!

We're also supposed to have an overnight guest so I have one more LARGE present to wrap so I can open up the guest room (it's DH's sliding truck window). The bed is made, a box of chocolates on the pillow and the bathroom is ready to go!

Gotta run....

Just doing a drive by!

1 foot of SNOW:scared1: :headache: here!

I have a meeting tonight that is probably almost 1/2 way to your house. So afterward maybe I'll go visit you and DISma and DIspa instead of coming home. The meeting might go late, so if you hear someting on your deck at about midnight, just go back to sleep. It's just me building a snowfamily!:cold: :cold: :cold:

I was on the Disney Cruisline website checking out prices on cruises.

I was looking for three because I was thinking of taking my mom along with us:thumbsup2

Should be fun, at least I hope so for that price :rotfl2:

I have an idea  about how we call all manage this. We'll have Brenda do one of her fundraisers for us! She seems to always be involved in these great fundraisers for her school and they are always so successful. I'm sure she could raose a few million so we can all go!:thumbsup2
count me in for sure!!! looking forward to ALL THOSE Disney Rewards points i'll get on my Disney visa!!!!:lmao:
OK if you put it on your visa, you can use the fundraising $ to pay it off and we'll let you keep all of the reward points!:woohoo:

YOu are all much better people than me. If my MIL wanted to come live with us, I'd say :sad2: :scared:

I think you're right. "the kind heart part is key. I can't stand it when people do things just to get credit in the public eye!:headache:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm laughing now :lmao:

My wacky neighbour is trying to get the jump on me this week.

He put his garbage out a few minutes ago;)

My car was NOT parked in it's normal spot and that spot is open right now.:lmao:

So he "Parked" his garbage right in the middle of the open spot:rotfl:

Now technically he is not allowed to put his garbage at the road until after 7:00pm on the evening before garbage pick up is scheduled, which is tomorrow.

Hmmmm, now just where am I going to park my car tonight :scratchin

I'm not sure that I should actually touch his garbage because it is not directly blocking any access to my vehicles.

Hmmmm, maybe I will just have to let him "win" this week and make sure that I have my car in the proper position earlier next week.

Or maybe I can just park on the outside of his garbage can so that it is blocked in between my car and the curb and the garbage truck won't see it at all???

I'd have to figure out how much further into the road that would put my car LOL

You know...he has been waiting all day - pacing - patiently...till it was late enough (he thinks) without it being TOOOOO early - while your car isn't parked in the usual spot & now was the time...so he quickly ran out - put his garbage there....so now you are faced with a decision...do you park in front of his cans - so your car is further up than normal....park behind them - which i'm sure will block his driveway? or i'm really liking your idea of parking on the outer side so the garbage men won't see them :rotfl:

I agree, He's probably been thinking of his next plan of attack all week long:lmao:

I think I'm beginning to really annoy him

I can't park in front of the cans because Liz's car is parked there.

The outside would be the most logical and legal way to do it without actually touching his garbage cans:rolleyes1

Behind the cans would definitely put me blocking his driveway:confused3

I suppose that I could go out in the dark of night and accidentally knock it over;)

I'm still trying to maintain my -ic image though and not do anything that could get me into any major amount of trouble.

Of course if no one SEES me do it:cool1:

Ok....it's time to just go right on over there & (politely) explain to the man that you're not allowed to park on your side of the street (city law & all - because it's possible he may not know that)...& therefore your only option is to park on the opposite side & it's been obvious that your car has been hindering his 'garbage' nights & what is his suggestion to where you should park? if that doesn't work...then yep garbage all over the lawn....you shouldn't do it tho...but maybe Alex & Liz's bF could in the deep of the night...so that way if he confronts you - you can HONESTLY tell him that you didn't do it....of course...they need to be dressed in all black...and be very very quiet - even better if it could be done an a windy DARK night the noise would muffle the sound & the wind could be blamed!!!

wow~ I don't post for the whole day and you guys chat up a storm!!!

Ann, yes we've had fried turkeys before. In fact we do it every year. We just can't bring ourselves back to the roasted turkey. :teeth:

And I agree with everyone else... sounds like your place is the "it" place to be!!!! Everything sounds so lovely! :thumbsup2

I think if I put chocolates on the guest bed the kids would get it before the guest.

Robin, count me in on the cruise! Thanks Brenda for offering your CC. :lmao: What a sweatheart!

Robin, I think you should park your car next to the garbage! I mean...where else is there to park... ;)

Dance class night :dance3:

I don't think I told you guys that Liz is sick:sick:

It started Saturday with a sore throat and feeling achy.

Yesterday she was a whole lot better but still not really well.

She started throwing up in the middle of the night until about 8 this morning.

The rest of the day she felt a bit better, actually ate pizza and soup for lunch

Now she has hardly no voice.

Kinda hard to work McDonald's drivethru with no voice, so she had to miss work today and probably tomorrow too.

I'm just glad the throwing up part was over quickly. :scared:
