Morning... 38 degrees here this morning! :cold: It should warm up to high 70's though.

Nothing planned for today~ maybe go grocery shopping. yuck

Good Morning Threadkillers!

Hiya Newbies! I agree with everyone else - you won't find a better group around! Welcome and I hope you stay for a nice long chat!

Well, today I'm going to buy my non-perishable Thanksgiving items. Oiy Vey! For someone who is going out to dinner 3 times this week - I have a HUGE grocery list!

Also we're picking up our new dining room table today. It comfortably seats 10 and we're gonna smoosh 12 this year. I can't get anything bigger in the style I want.

Yesterday I tried a new Southern Biscuit recipe and they were like angel clouds! So soft and fluffy! Today I'm going to test another make-ahead batch of dinner rolls and make my final decision this week (it's between 2...I've tested 4 so far).

Once again - everyone has posted some really great pictures and I STILL can't figure out how to post. I have a true mental block with that one and Holly's pic was a fluke. I shall remain picture postless *sigh*.

Ya'll take care - I've got to finish my list!

Morning everyone.

Cally it is 44 here right now but it won't be getting anywhere near as high as your temperature is going to be. We are also expecting rain today :umbrella:

I need food too. Anybody want MY list to get while you are out shopping:confused3

I've been trying to find flights for our cruise at the end of January.

So far the prices AND the times available are pretty much kay-rap. About the cheapest return flight I can find is $287.00. Not really wanting to spend that much if we don't have to.

Yes ma'am that is exactly where I went:thumbsup2

Although it is spelt Louis not Lewis.

I was wondering if that Mickey was one of the ones that they had at the parks a few years ago:confused3

...

I am sure he is!

I think all the companies that painted each of them now have them. The first one I ever saw was the one the military did, it was in the lobby of the Shades of Green hotel in Orlando.

Colleen just got done looking at your pics:thumbsup2 Nice.. I esp like the ones u took of the peppers..the colors are so bright!

Thank you...the color is why I took the picture, the farmer's market has more color than the trees :( Our trees all seem to be going straight from green to dead~

You cooking Diva you!

Rose gave the guys a good laugh yesterday when she looked at me and asked if I am cooking for thanksgiving :lmao:

Photobucket gives you the codes you need to post pictures, you pick which code depending on what site you are posting to...

Photobucket does alot of the work for you, eventhough, as Robin can attest it's not the easiest site to use. I really like it cause it gives me all the options I like with unlimited capacity (I pay $25 a year for that.) I recently noticed that I literally have over 6600 pictures in my photobucket :faint:

I noticed in the travel section yesterday that flight prices are on their way back up :(

Our local papaer does a chart of what the lowest fares are at two of the local airports and for what airline. Last week Philly to Orlando was $120, this week it's $183.

Robin...
Hows the fare watching going???...find anything acceptable yet???

We are planning a first for Thanksgiving.....
Every other year the boys do Thanksgiving at other familes houses.. (inlaws),
So we end up with just a few of us...and its hard to make a big turkey dinner for just a few....
Soooo...We found this very nice place that does Thankgiving dinners...It overlooks a very pretty lake...and the food there is suppose to be great!...You can order the whole turkey dinner and bring home the leftovers!...for 20.00 per..It would cost me alot more then that to make it...;) and no cleanup either!...Just go home and relax with a nice glass of wine by the fire...:cloud9:

Good Morning!

Got lots to do today!:headache:

Gonna order the Food for Makenzies 1st Birthday bash (which is the Sat before Thanksgiving), and ORDER the food for Thanksgiving too. Gonna buy everything already made up from local supermarket. Pick it up on Weds and heat it up on thurs!:thumbsup2

I am only making my own stuffing, and vegetables this year!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I am already pooped out thinking of what i have to do!:scared:

check back later!:goodvibes

For as much as you do by yourself that's how I'd do the holiday~

I may not cook but I clean up...hubby puts so much into what he does in the kitchen that this is the compromise that works for us. I do not have a dishwasher so clean up here is as big a chore as cooking~

Ordered a BIG ROUND (Bagel like) Hero for Makeys Party, along with a Cheese & Veg platter!:yay: :woohoo: princess:

 Hi Working on my avatar alitte and siggy.

Kids had a great time on holloween:cool1: still:rotfl: from all the candy!

Zach was Peter Pan and Zoe was Annie, Tinkerbell, and Cinderella. She couldn't make up her mind so she kept changing.

Speaking of Thanksgiving.... I'm hosting this year. I don't mind. I like it! :goodvibes Roger will fry the turkey and I got everything else!

We usually wait to do the grocery shopping for Thanksgiving...usually around the 15th is when we start.

Looks like I'm babysitting again tomorrow!

Tomorrow is my running around day...gotta vote, gotta go pick up my Ratatouille copy, was gonna go to the unemployment office for this month's job training calendar but just realized they are most likely closed. Brittany has a job interview at 3, I'll probably have to cart her to it if DBF is working (he works the night shift at a video store.)
