Hey yall!! Have I ever told you all what a bunch of nice people you are... Well I'm telling you now!

I just got home. Roger and I finally found a costume for Dante. He said he wanted to be a blue ninja. We went to K-mart and their costumes were 50% off...and we did find him a blue ninja

We got them some trick or treating bags and 3 bags of candy to hand just case we get home and there are still TOT'ers out.

All of that for $20.10. We also got a 10% military discount. I think Kmart is under rated!

I'm going to go catch up...

I love KMart but we no longer have one around here!

Bad news - I made porkchops in Sauerkraut....YUK it came out discusting. Dont know what I did wrong (made it lots of times before) No one hardly ate any of it.

BUY HEY we got some GOOD NEWS here this evening! My sister who was laid off of her very nice paying job, that she and was 15 minutes away...back in January 2004. She has been floundering in temp jobs & unemployement ever since....Got a call tonight....THEY NEED HER BACK!

She was a Accounts manager for a small (mom & pop) office supply company...anyhow back in 2003 things turned sour and the owner was forced to sell to one of the BIG office supply companies (Chances are that if you ever had a rubber stamp made with your name, address...etc This company made it....the ONLY one in the USA) So the BIG company turned around and laid everyone off. Her Boss acctually cried when he had to let my sister go.

So now 4 years later...the BIG company screwed everything up soooooooooo bad that they are letting him hire EVERYONE back! She starts next Monday! She is on

My mom actually used to make rubber stamps in her business years ago.

Now she still sells them but orders them from some other company.

Too much trouble to make them herself.

My sleep clock is always out of whack.

SIL stayed the night lastnight with baby because she had to be at work this morning at 6am and she needed me to watch the baby.

Her husband is TDY to Savannah and it was just easier to have the baby here instead of having to wake the baby up at 530 in the morning and have to drag her out in the freezing cold. Not to mention all the stuff she would have to carry and bring over here.

Speaking of freezing...I think it might be time to turn on the heater. I woke up in an ICE BOX It's 39 degrees outside. The thermometer in the house says 62 in here. Not exactly toasty!!

My DFIL is leaving for FL tomorrow. He's going because it's finally cold here...he's gonna be mighty upset when he gets south and the temps are just as cold there as they are here

Well, I did it. I bought a new camera

Wound up buying a nikon D40, 2 lenses and a 2gb memory card from amazon. Pricewise I think I saved about $50 on the package by shopping around first.

Key is, I got what I wanted.

Next trick is to make this sucker earn me some green, I got a cruise I'm supposed to go on next new years and need a real income to make that work.
