Who feels like a Thread-Killer? Part 2

Ooh, I missed you, too! Yes, I'm very glad to be back home. DD said it was just below 70 here.......jeans & turtleneck weather!

My SIL does have one grown child. Unfortunately, he's not much help. We honestly didn't think her husband would step up to the plate, either. They seemed to be more of a habit than anything else. However, he's taking good care of her and it seems they have re-discovered their love for each other. Always, better late than never. I was very happy to see them share memories and look at each other with love.

You're right, Robin, I was very happy that we went. She's lost so much weight that they've been unable to give her chemo for three weeks. If they don't put some weight back on her, she might not get to continue that route. She told me that in Feb/Mar, they recommended Hospice.........she never told us! Ugh! She, like my DMIL, were very secretive about their cancer until it was too late for anyone to help. I don't understand it, but they are adults and I respect their wishes.

I pleaded the fifth while I doled out the PG cups....and...guess what?

there were an odd number..so...I had to eat some..

poor poor me!

Aaaah....I was behaved anyway...no need to take the fifth....

if you thought the twins sotory was a bit disturbing....i better keep the triplet story hush-hush....

Cruisin' ! :boat: wasn't a whole lot bossy....

:invisible ink: Cruisin' :boat: was behaved too....well...there was that one incident....but...she promised me some cookies...so..i don't know nothin' :/invisible ink:

so...did you chase a squirrel down?....roast it over a fire?

what did you do with the pelt? Squirrel mittens?

oh wait....you said you had apples....you must have rotisseried it....YUM!

I had a high old time with some EEE's....got to thinking...

add some flowers and a bow...the twins could have worn them as hats.....

yeah yeah yeah....the Steelers won....rub it in.... :) :)

so....you all caught up on the posts?

Yep! I'm all caught up! In fact, I was SO caught up, I unloaded the car while DH snoozed in his recliner waiting for ya'll to post! I've only tried to read the Threadkillers. I haven't even touched any other board. TK's take priority!

I didn't chase down the squirrels. Sadly, I didn't learn how to juggle, either.

I did, however, try a pizza burger. Anyone ever heard of that? It's the weirdest thing. You make a burger and instead of using a bun, you put it between two slices of pizza!

Since I'm a low-carber, I took all the stuff off the pizza, slapped in on the burger and ate it with a fork. Now that got me some looks from all the family gathered round the table! They don't understand low-carb or sugar free up in Smithton, PA!

It was okay. Nice to try once, but I wouldn't make a habit of it. Kind of like a loop-de-loop roller coaster. I always think they're a good idea, but then I end up queasy for the rest of the day!

I certainly was behaved while Hollyann was gone. I just won't admit to whether I was well behaved or badly behaved :teeth:

I don't know anything about any cookies ;) we only talked about good and plenties and peanut butter cups, and almond joys, and snickers bars and glossettes and .............. Do you see a pattern here ;)

:p , I see, except I wouldn't even try the loop-de-loop roller coasters cause I have already learned that they are NOT a good idea

Yeah, I understand about the roller coaster. However, time goes by and they look like SO MUCH FUN!

So, I think to myself............."this time it will be different!".

But it never is!

I never stand in line with someone that I've been on a loop-de-loop with before. It's always someone new.....someone who hasn't been on one with me....someone who hasn't seen me "decorate" amusement park bathrooms.......

NNNOOOOO......I have to go and stand in line with someone who has never ridden on a loop-de-loop with me. They talk about how cool they are and how it's nothing and how much fun we'll have.......So, I look at those loops and am led to the front of the line, like a lamb to the slaughter............

It's my roller coaster Karma, I guess.

I gotta go nighty-night! It's been 15 hours in a car....catching up on all the mail, making calls and chatting with the Tk's. My eye lids won't stay open any more!

See ya'll in the morning and thanks again for the good wishes!

LADIES, HOW did you miss this typo?!?! I don't know about you girls, but I want nothing to do with PG anything!

:p

{{HUGS}}, Prayers, and HELLO Ann! Glad you're back! You WERE missed! Ayup!

My daughter talked me into going on Rock N Roller Coaster at MGM a few years back.

Well let me tell you, it is just a good thing that we stopped at the end of the ride and had to wait for a few minutes before we could get out of our car. I honestly don't think I would have been able to get out if I had to do it right away. I wasn't sick but it really shook me up.

Never again, but we have to sneak into the gift shop up the ramp against "traffic" so we can shop in the store there. My brother likes the t-shirts with the guitars, so everytime we go I have to buy him a new shirt.

Crusin' ! :boat: didn't deny the bribe...just the ransom....

I've never had a pizza burger either...sounds OK...I'd try it...

Pizza-mcnuggets!

now we're talkin'....

:p Kim, I guess our eyes are just too tired tonight.

Good thing someone is alert and paying attention

No, I don't want any of those either.

I should change it to an "R" Rating?

Nite HollyAnn...sleep well my friend.... :cloud9:

BP, your 'proposal' is flattering. ::yes:: I just think I'm more of the English teacher-type, grammar, spelling, etc., whereas Robin could provide you humor. ::yes:: Of course, I have the youngin' to provide insight also. ;)

So, when ya gonna announce this idea, so Ann and everyone else knows? You did say when Ann got back, I think. ;)

Have a good rest Ann. Can you sleep in tomorrow???

I won't be far behind you because I have a headache and I think I need to get some sleep

Brer_Papa, we would probably find out for sure if the moderators read this thread if we were doing an R rated thing:eek:

OOPS! excuse my poor manners...

Hi Kim!

Beunos noches Mon Petite!

It is good to see eh, before I go kaput
for the night....

so...Hola Muchacha...
