13 kids?..... Really???? I feel sorry for your mother! Nine grandchildren do me in, in no time and I dont often see them all at once....I myself am the youngest of five. two boys then us girls.

Hi guys/gals! There isn't much to tell actually. Immediately after ballet and a few guild meetings we headed directly to the airport. The flight went well and for the first time we saw other planes passing us! It was the weirdest thing! We actually got into MCO about 30 mins early~~ love SWA!! Checked into the Hyatt and got our runway view, checked out the heated pool then got the kids settled in. The next two days involved swimming, plane and people watching, more swimming, lots of room service, some shopping, more swimming...you get the idea. Lots of r&r under a beautiful blue sky and sunny 85 degree weather. It was great to just disconnect from everyone. (We didn't tell anyone that we were going anywhere, we just disappeared without anyone being the wiser!) Like I stated earlier the flight back was a little tense, especially after take-off until we reached cruising altitude and the last 5 minutes before landing. I honestly didn't know a plane could move the way it did...the tail section seemed to be moving side to side while we were doing the usual, turbulant up and down motions! I actually gasped and clenched the armrests at one point and before that I really thought I was a jetrosexual!! Oh well, at least it made me thankful to be home again. All in all we had a great, uneventful time. I'm sure we won't be doing that again anytime soon but it should get us through 'til our cruise in May. I just keep hearing how we're in for a long, hard winter!!

Sorry BP, I didn't watch the game but I was really surprised when I heard about it the next day. Congrats for at least being co-champ!! I crashed and burned this weekend but again, I played the best players I had so there was nothing else I could do. I've got a few players that I need to dump because they're out for a month or the rest of the season. Problem is that there is no one else to really choose from! If I don't win this week then I deserve to juggle lingerie in my lingerie in the freezing cold until I win again! The guy I'm playing stinks (to put is politely!) Anyhow, good luck this weekend!!

Luckymommy, I know of what you speak about the airplane thing. We went through a really bad thunder storm once on the way home from Las Vegas and my husband says he saw the plane flex in a way that it should not have .

I didn't get an email saying that you posted , so I didn't check back in.

I have noticed some mess ups lately with the emails and the postings

How is your son doing tonight, Kim.

My daughter is not feeling well tonight and even left a visit (in town for a change!!!) with her boyfriend to come home , so she really must not have been feeling good. She went to bed quite a while ago.

My son stayed home from school today because he did not feel well.

I feel good today..........except...........my dance teacher was mean , she made us work too hard and now everything hurts

Me neither/me too. But I got one for WM Alex's PM, go figure.

DS took some of my prescription cough syrup tonight (I KNOW, not for him), and he's still coughing away. I should've just stuck with NyQuil liquigels, as it worked last night. He also worked tonight for 4 hours. I can't believe a food service place wants a kid hacking away all over that food!

So sorry to hear about your DKids also! Must be going around, and up & down, and side-ways with these kids, and Us! That time of year I guess. Too nice for the germs to die yet. Only good reason to hope for bone-chilling cold, is to kill those nasty germs.

LOL about your dance teacher! I'm only just now getting back to my exercise routine, and I've been a little 'stiff' lately.

Hello all and Happy Halloween!
We have trick or treaters coming thru work today...too cute!

Cruisin-We were there in August! The days were great~about 80, but a night!~we were in the stadium huddled under blankets! It was cold!

It's out and about in a boat, by the time you get to say boat, you'll have the accent perfectly...have you ever listened to a canadian hockey player talk? eh?

BP: I thought the batmickey as an avatar would be perfect for the holiday-I'll be needin' a new one come monday tho... I'll have to get reindeer mickey out and make a christmas avatar out of him, ya think?

Wow! 13 kids?! I bet you had a active household to say the least! As big as your family is, you're probably all incredibly close...I have only one sister, we didn't stop fighting til we moved to separate households, now we get along great.

LMx2: It's flights like that that scare the dickens out of my hubby...glad to see you made it home safe. You didn't do any parks!?!?! How is that possible?

TW - I am not into hockey so, no, I have never really ever listenened to a Canadian hockey player talk!

I still don't understand the stereotype but unnnn, doesn't matter to me.

Dancing is a new thing with me. I started taking Tap dance and Hip Hop Dance in September. I feel sorry for those other people who have to watch me do it. But I am enjoying it!!!

Well, I just went out and bought a new refrigerator. I bought a Maytag, bottom freezer type. Got to think about us old people and our backs ya know It cost me $1150.00 Canadian (with all taxes in that total) which equates to about $943.50 US. Anybody know how that compares to prices in the US??

When we get rid of an old fridge we have to have the freon (spelling?) removed from it first. So now I have to find someone to come out and do that for me, so I can dispose of the old one!!
Do you guys have to do that too???? The garbage truck won't take them without the proper sticker on them.

Strange day here, dark, dreary, heavy rains, temperatures not too bad though.

When we bought our fridge, Sears took away the old one for us...sorry I couldn't help with that one.

We paid about $800 US for ours...price depends on size & features, I'm sure. We got a good size with standard features. Top freezer, no ice maker, adjustable glass shelves.

My weather is warm, almost 70 today, but gray. The trick or treaters are brightening my day. My DD is 16 and DS is 18, I miss the trick or treating, but not that much. LOL.

TW my kids are 17 and 20, I sort of miss the trick or treat days but not really especially on those cold Halloween years.

I do enjoy having the little ones come to my door though now. We don't get a lot of kids anymore, if we get 20 -30 we are lucky, and 15 of those probably are just the ones that live in our circle and on the dead end street.

We live off a little dead end street of 6 houses and our street is a circle off of it with 10 houses. It goes nowhere and you have to backtrack to get out, so most of the kids don't bother to come back here. Lots and lots of kids go by on the bigger street 1/2 block away.

"THREAD-KILLERS TALENT SHOW" the sign read in front of the old theater....

outside,the DIS-ers were either lined up to buy tickets....

or standing in line with their tickets in hand ...waiting to enter the theaters hallowed halls ....

inside...the TK-ers were busy making last minute preparations....

make-up...costumes.... and alterations....tuning instruments...testing the lighting...testing the sound equipment....

some were talking excitedly...some talking nervously....but everybody was overjoyed that the opening curtain was getting so close....

meanwhile, the doors had opened and the crowd started streaming in....the very first DIS-er to enter was our own BP....

he had a ticket in the front row in the center....he didn't want to miss one glorius moment f his great friends success...

of course...when the idea came up for the talent show...BP was expected to join them...but he had respectfully declined....stating it was a "talent show"...not a "show off" show...

and he would much rather be a spectator....this time...

he did, however...attend the practices....giving a pointer here..a suggestion there....but other than that...he was just a specatator....

having attended the practices...BP was certain the DIS-ers would find the one act show mesmerizing...spectaular....magnificent...and even overwhelming....

all the TK-ers would be on stage at the same time....showcasing each ones special talents....

Cruisin' would be doing exotic tap dance...in layers of veils...

Kim would be doing a siningexcerside demonstration....

HollyAnn would do karaoke while eating ice cream....

LuckyMommyx2 would juggle lingerie...in an airplane simualtor....during turbulence...and giving fantasy football tips while juggling...

DalPal would do horseback riding tips and tricks....

TigegerWannaBe would be exhibiting photography....

MaMudDuck would be doing musical presenations and interludes..

MamaJoan would be giving a class on being a Warden...or a babysitter..depending on the ages of those who you are put in charge of....

in behind the curtain...the TK-ers heard the chatter of the incoming crowd....more excited than they thoght they'd be...they took turns peeking out at the audience...

Cruisin' spotted BP...and told the others....

"PSSSST! BP" she hissed..."over here!"

BP saw his buddy...and waved....she waved back..and disappeared behind the curtain...

so...they all took turns "PPSSSST-ing" at him...and he laughingly waved back...or gave a thumbs up...to each & every one...

MMF...the announcer....with his lovely co-host....ZEN....warmed up the audience with a few jokes....

the orchestra was in the orchestra tuning up....

at last....MMF and ZEN took center stage....the house lights dimmed....

the spotlight shined brightly on the co-hosts...

SHOW TIME!

After the crowd was informed of te show to be seen....the curtain was raised...the show began!

Cruisin' was tappin' and the veils were flappin'...

Kim was singing the "Cheers" song while doing chin ups...

HollyAnn was singing "Hello Mary Lou" while eating strawberry ice cream....

LuckyMommy was juggling silky and satiny unmentionables...and advising everybody to pick Daunte Culpepper as their quarerback....

DalPal was riding backwards in the sadlle at a full gallop....

TiggerWannaBE was illustrating proper camera and lighting techniques...and had photographs displaed of Halloween images....

MaMudDuck was taking song title requests and playing the songs over the sound system....

MamaJoan was frisking volunteers from the audience...

and if she didn't see someone volunteer...she showed them the propper methods to subdue someone....

the show was being well received...

the audience was singing along...dancing in the aisles....clappng....giving standing ovations...

and then....it happened....
