PrincessaC, you are getting so very old . My nephew was born in 1976 .

Kim, I COULD post those letters here but I don't think that I would do it . Not that there was anything racy or really private about them at all.

I do remember that I numbered or dated the outside of the envelopes so that if he got more than one on any day, he knew which one to read first. I also remember drawing little pictures in them ahhhh to be young and in love

A thunder storm .......... hm wonder if it is heading in this direction???

No, I have wondered that too.

At one time, not so very long ago , they used to limit threads to only 150 pages in length. If you wanted the thread to continue you had to start up a new one.

Some of the game threads have lots of replies on them though.

There have been over 6000 replies to the thread killers thread.

I would think with your writing skills that you must have written her some very nice letters.

Of course my letters were "good"....

there were poems too....

My Mom told me I was shy one time....i was too young to remember it though...

High school was a lot of fun....can't say I had all the friends....but i did talk to everyone...even the girl who beat me up my first day in 10th grade in a new school...

Yup I counted every single one of those replies .......... hah no of course I didn't count them.

If you go to the community board page and in the first column to the right past the thread title it will say how many replies have been made to the thread. Just click on it and it will tell you who replied and how many times to the thread!!!!!!

the beginning of the parade..

the Headless HorseMan appears....dressed in black.. pumpkin with red eyes, ears and mouth tucked under his arm....

he is riding a blackhorse....with red glowing eyes...

when he galllops...sparks fly from the horses hooves....

at times...he stops...and the horse rears back on its hind legs....

after he gallps off....he leaves behind green flourescent hoof marks glowing on the bricks/pavement of where he passed...

it's so cool..

kids sit there staring...adults there mouths agape...

one of the best characters ...one of my favorites...
