BP...please be careful juggling the lingerie too close the cake! I don't doubt your juggling abilities but some of those corsets have some hanging strings that could light up like wicks!! That could be an interesting little bon-fire by the time the firefighters show up. Would like to be there to hear you tell the story (while still in your lingerie) to the fire investigators and see their faces! I think your Denver pick over Cin is good. The Bengals are giving up an average of 26 pt/game and Palmer has been getting picked off a lot recently. You have to like what Droughns is doing for Denver! And to think I almost traded for Griffin! I did get Ashley Lelie though and so far he's gotten me at least one big play per game and improving each game he's back. So, again, yes, good choice~~ just don't tell my brother the Bengal fan!

I've got to go and start packing. We're loading up the kids after ballet Saturday and flying to Florida to "disappear" for a few days. Nothing planned when we get there and unfortunately/fortunately we won't be hitting WDW. Just r&r to rejuvinate. This is the first time we've taken advantage of airfare specials and had a spontaneous trip like this. I'm really looking forward to it!! Please send a little pixie dust for nice weather and a smooth flight. I like to fly but I do get pretty nervous if there's turbulance!

I mostly ride english, but there are times I like western(some trail rides) I have never done anything but trail. except when I was a kid and our camp had a show..I think if I remember right I won 6th place out of about twenty or so riders. I still have my little green ribbon.
Anyway I just take off for an afternoon and ride the countryside. We live behind a state park that has 600 hundred acres.. so I have alot of nice options. I dont like to ride alone so I dont get to go as often as I would like, but Its alot of fun when I can. I give Dakar meds(camp supplied). for his cancer and he seems to be doing fine...... at his age I dont think the camp will do much more then the meds.....If there is anything they could do.....This is one of the reasons I keep leasing him. If I didnt, I dont think they would be able to get anyone to take him for the winter and he would be left in the field. Even though he isnt really mine I have him for 10 months every year(3yrs now)and I love him like he is.

Well, I came into work an hour late today, and I'm leaving a few minutes early. Nothing to do with my BD, or this FAB party going on, but DD had her first reading in Chapel this morning, so I stayed, and DS gets out early so I need to pick him up. Nothing else planned for tonight, maybe this weekend.

We got the new computer desk set up last night, and I set up the new Disney Dream computer. I couldn't get the monitor to work, but DS did. (I swore I pushed that button, too!) Now, anyone know how to connect that 'puter to the internet, via my existing cable modem? Is that what routers are for?? I think my ISP whats to charge me more if I go through them. I presume these routers are legal?

Well, enough chit-chat! Back to party-ing!!!

Kim, we run 3 computers in our house off of the same cable internet connection. I guess we use a router and my husband and son did all of the connecting together. Our computers are also networked so that I can see for example the pictures from the camera that are stored on my son's computer , with my computer downstairs.

My son says you would need a router. He suggests that you should ask the Tech board for some help on this topic. He says it is a simple concept but is not always simple to carry out.

Maybe you could try asking Dan, he might know how to do it??? Do you have any computer savvy friends who might be able to guide you with this??

Hey Brer_Papa, I resemble some of those remarks, actually a lot of them . I won't admit to which ones, but I will tell you that I do NOT keep my teeth in a glass at night

Robin, we're flying into Orlando and staying right there. The kids (and DH and I ) love watching the planes land and take off. There is a lot to do, including shop, in the terminal. We definitely won't go hungry. I just want to swim in the pool and soak in some warm sun!!!

BP...sorry I almost forgot about your poll. I would have to check other, even though that option isn't listed. I like to play detective and glance at a driver's license when they open up their wallet to pay for something. Once I got my hands on someone's passport! There are other, more creative ways involving VS but I don't want to give away all my secrets!!!

Dalpal, you are definitely not that old, because you are only 2 months older than me! I am definitely not OLD because my daughter told me yesterday that I wasn't old

We were shopping in Walmart yesterday and I was going to try on some clothes (a very rare occurrence!!!).

I picked up a shirt and she looked at me and said ......... "Where are you going with that shirt???"

I replied of course ....... "I'm going to try it on"

She said ......... "Put it back"

I say "Why??? I like it!!"

She says.... "That's an old ladies shirt and YOU are not THAT old"

So after much pouting and frowning and hanging on, she finally wrestles the shirt out of my hands and put it back on the nearest rack

Luckymommy, so you are staying right at the airport the whole time that you are there??? That sounds like an interesting idea. Let us know how you enjoyed it and what you did while you were there. Is the pool indoor or outdoor? Are there places there where you can get outside to enjoy the weather?
