Hi Kim

You are playing early tonight.

Special birthday night so you get on the computer early????

If you could pry him away from the food, Brer_Papa has been waiting for you to dance with him!! I have been trying to keep him out of trouble until you got here!!!!!!!!!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

LMX2, I clicked too, good cause, thanks for posting the link. ;)

Robin, I think your DD paid you a very HIGH compliment! ::yes:: :cool2: And I agree, 12-13 yos sounds about right. :p

I'll have to open another window to reply to more posts.

;)

Sounds like ya'll are having a great time! The Bunco party went very well. I'm sorry to say, there's hardly any food leftover. There is some spinach dip, but I decided for dinner tomorrow, I'm going to sautee chicken breasts, then cover them with the spinach dip & bake. The Marinated Mozarella went over real well - that & the chicken nuggets were gone almost right away!

Kim, I hope you had a fun birthday with the threadkillers! I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to play more.....busy day!

OH! Announcement! (ya'll are going to figure out my political standing from this one - sorry.) You know I've been volunteering a lot of my time for the presidential elections. Well, Pres Bush is coming to Jacksonville and the Republican Party wanted to give me 2 tickets to be on stage with the President during his speech. How cool is that?!

Anyway, the day he's making the speech, we've got out of town guests, so I had to decline. If his schedule changes and he's here during the week, I'll be given the opportunity then. They're still not sure. Anyway, I thought it was cool. I very seldom spill my political affiliations, because I think everyone is entitled to their opinion - but I was really honored. So, now ya know!

Well, enjoy the dancing, the leftover food and the music. I'm SOOOO tired that I've just gotta go to bed! Take care my beloved threadkillers and I'll see you in the AM.

Again, Kim - happy birthday. Thanks Robin - you know why!

Early? I try to hop on by 9pm, unless there's a special show I watch at that time, like last night, Judging Amy. Not sure what's on tonight tho, we don't have a TV guide this week, and I didn't bother to check the DirecTv.

Thank you Robin, and your DS, for the tips. I'm not sure I know anyone savvy enough, but I'll give it a try first. ;) I'm sure I'll end up :badpc: before I actually ASK anyone to help.

We ended up going out for dinner. I had a $25 off coupon, so we splurged. I discovered DD had a fever during dinner tho. :( She's such a BD trooper. After school I took DS, DD and my DNephew to Dairy Queen, she was fine then. ;) ;) And I'll admit, I tasted a few spoons of yummy stuff, but I didn't actually get anything for myself......I saved that for dinner! :earseek:

Oh! I got everything on my BD list, so LOOK OUT C'mas list, here I come! :p Plus, when my brother was here to pick up my DNephew, he brought me a framed pic of DNephew, 2 jar candles and a Cubs C'mas Ornament! I didn't have the heart to tell him I already bought myself the ornament. :o

The next few days were already scheduled to be hectic, and with DD not feeling well, it's really gonna be hard. She was going to go into art class early this Friday, to make up for missing last Friday, and Saturday morning she has brownies, and if we can't make it to FILs tomorrow to do the thank yous, then I was gonna go on Sat after brownies. I also thought we'd take FIL out to dinner Sat night. AND, I need to get my DNiece some kinda TOY to go with the boring clothes & ornament I bought for Her BD on Monday. Her Mom is my SIL that was hospitalized right before my MIL, and SIL is on bedrest now, so niece's BD party was cancelled. :( And on Sunday, DD has a friend's BD party to go to. I hope she's not sick too long. :(

I still haven't gone back to read more posts.

Asking them ____ Not always a good idea.

Carbon testing _____ HUH????

Ear Hair ______ No, thank you.

Nose Hair _____ No, thank you again. ;)

How loud the smoke alarms go off when they light the candles _____ Solution: No cake, no candles. :p
