Wow! Thanks for posting that site. I know one thing - I wouldn't have been out there! Hurricanes are unpredictable! One minute, it's raining and slightly windy, the next thing you know it's 80mph winds and your running away from the roof that just blew off next door!

Well, I hate to say this, but I've got to get to bed! I was determined to go to bed early - but we all know THAT didn't happen! I'll close up the house and check back in a little bit to say good night!

I don't think I would have been outside in that either. I am not quite that brave.

Well, it's time for me to say good night. I can't tell you how much fun I've had this week late at night with you! I'll go through late night posting withdrawals when Tom returns.

It'll be nice to have him home. I'm one of those girls who was lucky enough to marry her best friend - we do most everything together and I miss him! Plus, he's such a cutie patootie!

heheard Ricky singing....trying to write a song apparently...

Ozzie heard a guitar strummed...and then.....

"hello Robin Jean...you smell so clean..."...then would stop...

then the guitar was strummed and he heard....

"hello Kim Marie...would you go out with me...' and stopped...

the guitar strummed...and he heard...

"hello Wendy Lynn....won't you wear my pin?..." and he stopped...

the guitar strummed...and he heard...

"hello Joan Louise....can I give you a squeeze?..." and he stopped...

the guitar strummed yet again...and he heard..

"hello HollyAnn......let's run to a marryin' man..."....and he stopped....


and then the phone rang...and In a minute...Harriet yelled up the stairs...

"Ricky? YooHoo!...it's Mary Lou!"

the rest is history....

Ann, thanks for the update and your well wishes. Charley turned out to be a dud around here. Got a couple of inches of rain and maybe a slight breeze...not bad at all. I'm glad Charley is history and we can all breathe for a few days...at least until Daniel and Earl make up their minds on where they want to go!
