We are waitlisted for a THV (we have 2br at SSR currently) at the end of Aug but like the OP I am not upset about it just think it would be fab to try out the THV... we'll normally travel as a group of two, or maybe 4 and it seems a shame for that small of a party to get something so big with so many points. I am happy just to be going and bring first timers along -- I can't wait to see the kids faces and spend time with them there. It won't be long before they won't want to travel with their Aunt and Uncle

We're on a WL for a concierge studio at AKV, but have a savannah view just in case. The dates are 7/23-7/26.

We currently have a 2 bdrm BWV preferred view for 6/14 - 6/19 and we are waitlisted for a 2 bdrm at BCV. Booked right at 7-month window. But we'll still be beyond pleased if we stay right where we are. BWV is one of our favorites. The only reason we wanted BCV is for SAB since we'll be hosting my sister and her family.

We're on the waitlist for a standard 2BR at AKV Jambo--currently have a 2BR at AKV Kidani but we're wondering about cancelling the waitlist request since the reports on Kidani look positive and are making me wonder why I thought Jambo would be better. Maybe I'll wait to hear more about Kidani... decisions, decisions...

No more waitlist! I was able to get into a value studio, and the "extra" 3 banked points that were freed up were able to be used for another reservation. The CM, Joy, was able to set us up, and I am happy, we have what we need.

PS. It began when a waitlist came through and a reservation was mistakenly cancelled. DH and I now have exactly what we want, 2 nights BCV and 2 nights Jambo AKV, all in studios, and not having to use "1 bedroom points" to be in AKV.

We are waitlisted for 1 night in a treehouse in December. We have a full week already in hand -- but found better airfare booking our arrival one day earlier than planned. We have a 1BR booked at SSR for the arrival night -- but are hoping the WL comes through so we don't have to move.

(In case anyone is concerned with occupancy, we are 4 adults and will be cosy but legal in the 1BR unit.)

We have a 1bdrm booked at OKW for 12/2-12/7 . We wait listed a 1 bdrm at BWV and BLT. Between disboards and constantly checking the members web site I am really getting nothing done at work.

We are going to BCV 9/23-9/30 and have a studio booked for 9/23-9/27 and then from 9/28-9/30. We are missing Sunday night, 9/27. I went ahead and booked it for cash through MS (no discount available yet, of course) just so we would have the room and not have to move. I am on the WL for that night and have been since 4/8/09.

I think I will call tomorrow and see if the cash discount is available for that night and, while I'm on the phone, I might as well check on my WL.

Also have a savannah view studio at Jambo House booked for my niece from July 26-31. We are on the WL for Kidana but it doesn't really make them any difference if it comes through or not.

we have a akv jambo value studio booked from aug 24-27 then the 27 on cash value studio then 28-31 value studio on points. we are waitlisted for the one night of the 27th for a value studio. If it comes thru that would be great otherwise at least we have it on cash and ms said it is booked so that we do not have to change the room, the reservation would link all together.

After readin Donmil's post - I completely forgot and did not even think of trying to book one night with a cash discount. When I booked for my son, I wanted Kidani for him like us - but only had 4 nights out of the five. I should have asked for the discount, if any. I should try calling again today - I doubt if those four nights are still available, but will try anyway.

I believe the cash discount for dvc members is 20% or 25% cannot remember, but that discount is in the price given by dvc member services.

Yes, it's 25% - but I bet when I call, if the 4 nights are still available the discount won't be for when we are going or vice versa, lol. Will try at 9 am

a standard studio at AKV Jambo for Sept.27 - Oct. 2/09. Already have a 2-bedroom standard and 3 value studios but want to upgrade 1 to a standard for the extra 3 ft as we need the room for dd's wheelchair and they have no more accessible rooms.

Back to originial waitlist - just called. The four nights studio SV that were able two days ago are not available now - a night here and there and standard view - so I left it the way it was. Waitlisting for the 5 nights at Kidani SV - Studio - 8/23-28

I already got all the important waitlists for my June trip. I am waitlisted for June 9-11 and June 11-12 for an AKV concierge studio but I have no delusion that I am likely to get it, so no big deal.

It is not the computer that made the “mess” you are having, the computer only identifies matches, MS personnel still do the actual changes manually based on the notes that are included with the waitlist request, so either the person who set up the list put a “bad” note on it, or the person who filled it made a mistake.

Okay here is my WL. We currently have BLT 1bdrm Std 12/29/09 - 12/31/09 and BLT studio Lkview 12/31/09-1/2/10. We are waitlisted to extend the BLT 1bdrm std view thru 1/3/10. I know I have little to no hope of this but right now we are checking in 4 times during our trip and I would like to reduce that to 3. Here's hoping.

Since yesterday was my 30 day mark on WL for 1BR Jambo from Studio Jambo, I checked with MS this morning while tweaking an ADR - and it came through (still not on the website) - so now I WLed that 1BR Jambo for 1BR Kidani - it's only for one night, so I'm hopeful, but am fine with either. Just taking my BFF over after our convention in Orlando to show it off and have dinner at Sanaa.

Also have active WL for MK view studio @BLT from BL view. Not exactly torture for me because, again, I am happy with either for that trip with DGrD - just thought I may never get another good shot at MK view @ 7 mos. once BLT opens.

They just confirmed for me that it is 7 days - at that time you can call day to day to check on availability.

We are waitlisted for HHI or VB for my son's honeymoon August 9-14. Called at the 7 month window at MS opening for HHI and no dice.
