I forgot to add that I actually was close to making myself a nuisance. So CMs were a little cantankerous but most were actually encouraging. The more we call assures them of job security!

Our wait list came through today for a 2 bed at BCV, we'd originally got a one bed for 27/12/09 & 28/12/09. I was really surprised but extremely pleased.

It is actually 7 days as you thought, not 10. But, it wouldn't hurt to calll.

I was on the WL since June and nothing came through for our upcoming visit. I called and found a couple of the days available at another resort (not on our WL request) and I was able to book those days. As it stands, we have a split stay which is okay. I may call within the 7 days after our WL drops off, too.

Oops where'd I come up with 10. Thanks for correcting my mistake.

Well I've about given up on my waitlist. Right now we have 5 nights at AKV-Jambo and 1 night at Kidani (Studio Savannah, checkin Dec. 6th). We're on waitlist for all 6 nights at Kidani. The thing is we've been on the waitlist for 10 months now with no luck at all. We've certainly got to be at the top of the list you'd think. I sure hate to move for just 1 night. I even called to see if I could get all 6 nights at Jambo with no luck. Evidently WDW is going to be packed while we're there.

Update - I just called MS and still no availability on changing the 5 nights to Kidani or the 1 night to Jambo. I can't believe we've been on the waitlist for 10 months with no openings at all. People must be making their plans and not canceling at all these days.

We have ASMu booked as a back up & it won't be the end of the world if we have to move, but I'd really really like to not have to! I originally only had 2 nights booked, but I managed to add a couple more by calling here & there.

I hate to hear of your luck so far. Here's hoping it comes through. We've been fortunate with our requests in the past. We were persistent in calling DVC and voila, the DVC gods shined upon us. Our fingers are crossed for you.
