Who else is in waitlist torture? When and Where

I am trying to set up a Dec 30-Jan 3rd trip. Home resort BCV, so today DVC only had Jan 1 and 2, the last 2 nights. I said, ok, waitlist me for Dec 30 and 31st. And the DVC magic computer said, now only Jan 2nd is available.

I looked at my CM discount options, and booked BLT 1 BR for cash, in a 1 BR. I was going to WL at BLT for Dec 30-Jan 3. Since Dec 30 and 31st are almost IMPOSSIBLE, I think I may just WL Jan 1 and 2 though. I can live with the 2 nights on cash, 2 on points.

This is a trip to replace our cancelled June 28-July 3rd trip, that I cancelled today in 2BR at BWV.

We are waitlisted for a standard view at BLT for Oct 3-6, we have a standard view at BWV right know, would just like to try BLT. We will be happy either way.

I just waitlisted for Aug. 11-16 at Kidani 2bd standard, we have a 2bd value at Jamba. I got excited after seeing all the pictures and pool and decided to try to get in. Again, will be happy either way.

Right now we are book at Kidani standard view 1 bedroom for Nov3-Nov 7 (Jersey week). We are waitlisted for BLT standard view 1 bedroom. Obviously, we have never stayed at either, so I'm not going to go too nuts (but my preference is really BLT-kids want AKV)

Right now we are booked at OKW for June 20th-26th. We have a waitlist for the BW (standard or prefered). I love my BW but OKW is really nice, too.

I have a ressie for July 15-20 in a 2bdroom lockoff at BCV and waitlisted for 1 more additional nite - 21st. I do have a 2bd dedicated for the the 21st but DH hates to move so I need to make this happen I think!

We own at AKV so at 11 months we tried to book Jambo, studio Concierge September 6-14. What was available was September 8-14 AKV Jambo Studio Concierge. So we are waitlisted for AKV Studio Concierge September 6-8. We have booked AKV Jambo studio savannah view for September 6-8 in case we don't get Concierge. I check every single day!! I doubt we'll get it and we ARE happy with what we have booked now, it just would be fun to have a Concierge stay for all 9 days!!!

I just called today to make ressies for my son. 8/23-28 Jambo Studio SV - he is on the waitlist for Kidani Studio SV. They did have four of the five nights but I wanted him to waitlist for all the five nights.

(We are currently booked in a 2bdr SV Kidani).

Can you change ie: take a day off or add a day on to your current WL situation without going to the 'bottom of the list'. Granted any change would be at the very beginning or very end.
Would it stand to reason that if I shortened my current WL by a day or so it would have a better chance of being filled? Or is this just crazy talk.
Oh the possibilites floating around this brain of mine.

I am still waitingfor the 7 month window to open so I can get on a waitlist. Looking for Dec 20 to Jan 2, I am hoping for at least couple of days in the contempoarary (Magic Kingdom View) or AKV, studios.

We have a 1BR Savanna view at Kidani Nov 22-25 and Nov 27. We are waitlisted for Nov 25-26, and right now have a 1BR Savanna in Jambo for those 2 nights. . .oh please, oh please, let that waitlist come through. . .

I had hoped that when we hit the 7-month mark something would open up, but nothing so far. . . this is what I get for not being on top of the 11-month window this year.

Also, I keep getting mixed messages about new inventory at Kidani and that possibly opening rooms up. . is that how it would work, or not at all??

I'm on the WL for BCV 2BR with 2Q for Nov 21-24. I have a 2BR lockoff for those dates and then the 2br with 2Q for Nov 25-28. But it would be nice to get all in the same room and not have to switch rooms at all.

I've been wondering the same thing. I was going to add BLT as a second choice to my current BCV waitlist, but not if it means I'd be bumped to the bottom of the list for both requests.

I'm still waiting. I know, it's only been since Sunday. I'm missed 2 calls from Member Satisfaction/Communication people. Since there are so few standard view studios in Jambo, my hopes aren't too high. The more I think about it, the less I want to waste points for a 1 bedroom for the two nights. I'm hoping they can put me in a studio anywhere, and still be in my same place on the AKV standard studio waitlist.

I don't know about the above questions, losing place in line is the last thing I want to do now.
