As a protestant, I find this exciting, as well. In fact, I'd say that this has an impact on all (and if not all, most) people of the world. 

I'm not Catholic but he really impressed with him, that he asked for people to pray for him and asked for people to help him.

Same here. I was very impressed. He seems very humble, and very 'different' than Pope's in the past that I have heard speak. I somehow get the sense that he's going to be a "People's Pope". I wish him well. That's one tough job he just accepted!
Some people just have to stir the pot and try to find controversy in every little thing - especially something that people hold so dear to their hearts. My advice is to give that comment the validation it deserves by moving on and not responding (and yes, I get the irony in my posting this).
Can you lay off for one day? Otherwise this thread's going to get closed.
Yes, some people just seek attention anyway they can get it. Thank You for not quoting her because that is exactly what she wants.
