Seriously - thanks everyone for reading and commenting. I have gotten to where I really enjoy doing these trip reports. I lay here in the floor typing while I really should be trying to sleep. But it is a cool way to relive it all, you know?

Mark, your trip report is exactly what I need this week. I feel as if you're writing from MY heart. At this point in your Disney-life with Wesley, you and Rhonda are just where we were when we first took our A, now age 12. We stayed at ASMo that first trip. It feels like yesterday in some ways.

It was great meeting the 3 of you. Not enough time to spend but there will be other trips and other meets.

"To excited to sleep" - my DH said that to me at 3:30 AM on Friday as he drug me to the car.

Is it possible to be close to a family you don't even know? Only here on the Dis. Your family is truly remarkable because you and Rhonda take the time to make it so.

I feel like I am right there with you because of your descriptions. My grown daughter and I will be there for a truly remarkable mother/daughter trip in 6 days and I want it to be as magical as your trips always are.

Thanks so much for letting us peek into your life and for making our lives richer because of it.

Mark - Another great chapter!!

I loved this:

your sensory overload bladder is just about to burst – you see a Disney Bus. And you explode in a frenzy of excitement and anticipation and you smile knowingly, because you have just entered the most magical place on earth. That, friends, is part of why we go. Cause we get it. We understand.

And more often than not the grounds are dirty. Things that are broken take a long time to get someone to come and fix them.

Or clean them.....

Mark - it's a good thing you weren't with us at POP! Near the Hippy Dippy Pool. One night with Jami and Gram/Gramps! A unbelievable mess occured and wasn't cleaned up until way into the next morning!!!

Now, I must admit to my deep and longlasting jealousy that you will be athDisney that long. I'm already trying to convince Rhonda to go back. But to no avail. Seems that we don't have any money, or something like that. I told her I'd apply for a new credit card and she almost hit me! hee hee hee! Just kidding.

Great stuff... looking forward to more. What a nice family you are. 12 days is not enough at WDW, that's why we're doing 16. If you think you get a hard time for doing 12 days, imagine what people think of us taking transatlantic flights to get there. We get some funny looks - a kinda mixture between bewilderment and sympathy and the ones who realise we've been there before are aghast - why would anyone go twice? Didn't we get the memo that it's a "once in a lifetime" thing??! Then they ask if we're bringing our 2 year old (which, of course we are) and they just shake their heads like we're committing a crime.

Mark - Another Great installment!!!

Love Four for a Dollar. My husband could watch them all day. On a trip in 2003 we had some pics taken with them and they sang to Hayley!!!! It made a great video!!! In fact, on that trip, MGM was one of our favorite parks due to the interaction we got from so many characters and cast members. We have about 2 hours of video of just Pixie Dust at every corner.
