I am still here too! I've been away from the DIS for most of November, but am slowly catching up again! I hope things calm down for you.

So I had some really good news I was waiting to share until it became official. Boyfriend's parents had informed us that for vacation this year we would be going on a disney cruise and then spending four days in disney. Like i said, i was waiting till it was official but over christmas they said that we were indeed going.

Well boyfriend just called and informed me we were not going anymore. Apparently they don't have the money or couldn't get the points or something. I'm not sure what happened but it looks like no Mickey this year

Oooooh, that is awful. To have such a wonderful trip planned, and then gone! Any chance that anything will turn around? Even just for a few days at WDW?

I don't know, the whole thing is a bit weird to be honest. First off, his parents gave me all the stuff to get the passport and whatever on Christmas and it was like a done deal, and then just a few days after he calls me and tells me we're not going. When i was over there today and last night they didn't say anything about it, come to find out today, his mother told him and his dad doesn't even know that we know! Also, we saw Jess today and it seems like she thinks we are still going which means they haven't told Jameson and Jess yet. The whole thing is weird and fishy. I'm not holding out any hope though because i was devastated when i found out we weren't going anymore. I heard his parents having a big argument about money this morning while i was "sleeping". i have no idea.

I would be happy with a trip to just disney to be honest, i was more excited for that than the cruise but it is what it is.

What a complicated ordeal. I like you, would just remain quiet about it and not hope at all....What a shame that some people don't know yet and are continuing on like it's happening! Sounds like even if one person thinks there is money issues (even if there isn't), it's wisest to do something smaller or not at all. I hope it all gets cleared up and straightened out!
