Is one better than the other for smaller kids (2 and 6)?

Any hints or suggestions for 1st timers?

Thanks in advance

Blizzard Beach would be my choice for littler ones. We liked the area for small children that had activities for them and there were plenty of CM's there to help them. The area only allows children under a certain height I believe. We have been to both parks - TL seemed to have more quieter areas for lounging. Hope this helps a little bit!

great question, as i am planning on going to 1 too. DD 5, DD9. If only small kids are allowed, will my DD9 be able to stay with her? DD5 is not a swimmer so anything where she goes underwater(slides) or can't touch the bottom (pools) won't do for her. But my DD9 is a daredevil and will want to do the big stuff. Unfortunately, i need something in the middle as i will be the only adult and they won't be able to go on there own. any suggestions for a middle ground?

I think so, our DS was 9 at the time and he went in that area - he is a tall boy, so I imagine you should be okay - I hope so! :goodvibes DS loved it - you had to walk across big pieces of "ice" with a rope pull, other fun and less challenging things than that too. I think I remember the water slides for little ones only as well. Someone else will know for sure!

My vote is also for BB. They also have the better family raft ride.

I forgot about that ride! We absolutely loved that one, rode it a couple of times and that was with kids, us and grandparents together. The raft ride was so fun, especially because you have to get there on the ski lift! Your kids will love it!

BB has the best kiddie area of the 2. My kids loved it when they were younger.:goodvibes

I like BB a lot for kids. Lots for them to do in an area that is pretty much just for them ( and accompaning parents )

They also have some of the greatest water slides for your daredevils. There is the family water raft ride and the lazy river for those who just want to relax or don't want to feel like they are risking their necks.

Blizzard Beach is better for the younger set. AWESOME area for the little ones and the wave pool is much more gentle.
