Which rides scare you the most?

Maelstrom! I'm probably the only person who's glad it's gone; it freaked me out.

And if I go on Dinosaur I don't open my eyes at all and I'll close my eyes for the Yeti portion of Everest.

I'll probably be the only one nominating this ride but.... Space Mountain.

Terrifying! There is something about those sound effects that made it seem like I was about to be decapitated!

100% agree! Nothing else in the parks genuinely scares me but I always think riding Space Mountain may be the last thing I do. I love it anyway, though.

None of the rides at Disney scare me per se, but they do thrill me, and I am a fan of thrills. I do remember screaming on DINOSAUR, but I think that's because I was drunk when we rode it (I do not recommend this).

I was going to say the opposite :rotfl: I recommend it, that is the only thing that made that ride interesting. I don't get the thrill of that ride but it was fun after a few hours of sitting at Dawa :drinking1

I have never done Mission Space and never will. Nothing about that ride is appealing to me. I am not for sure that I am "scared" of it, but I don't like all the warnings on signs as you approach it...lol. Space Mountain always makes me feel like I am going to bang my head on something even though I am pretty short. I still haven't let my DD7 ride it for fear she might be flung off...lol

The green line is of no intensity. The orange line on the other hand ...

I don't think anything at Disney is scary but our last ride on TOT in October was a little tense. We all got on our haunted elevator and sat for about 5 minutes while the CM pushed buttons. Then she called maintenance. Then we all filed off of the elevator and back to the loading platform. The maintenance man walked up and looked around a bit...pushed another button and said ok. Then we all got back on. Right before the doors shut someone asked what had happened. The CM told us there was a seatbelt malfunction! But we were in the same elevator and it was full. I was a little tense on that ride!

Another one for whom nothing at Disney is scary (except the prices). Snow White's Scary Adventures (now gone forever at WDW) used to scare the s**t out of me when I was a child but I've long since left childhood behind.

ToT (once was enough:rotfl2:) and RnR (never been on it too afraid to go upside down:eek:)

Hands down - Tower of Terror. It is also my favorite ride.

Last time we were there, we went to go on pooh and the cm smiled, stopped us and said we couldn't go on right now because, "pooh spilled honey on the tracks." I was like "huh? Is that code for 'someone threw up?" She wouldn't say, but I guess that is a nicer way of saying, "it broke down."

My dad will tell you that pooh is a very clumsy bear. He's always spilling honey! (Or someone puked, or someone decided to stand up or get out of their honeypot while it's in motion, or someone refused to load properly and the ride went down and had to be evacuated because it sat too long, etc. etc.. It usually goes down because of guest behavior more often than not)

No joke the scariest attraction for me is the Laugh Floor. I always get picked and I have extreme stage fright. I'm getting anxious right now just thinking about it.

I am terrified of the pooh ride. I know, don't look at me like that. Every time I get on it, it breaks down! I've gone on that four times and every time it breaks down. The last time the cast member left us in there for 20 minutes, and passed us to go deeper into the ride to get them out first... and top of the lungs yelled at us when we took pictures of each other while waiting. She wouldn't let us out of the car until we had 'erased' the pictures.

I will never go on that ride again.
I think I would have gotten her name and turned her in

I'm scared of heights, so it'd have to be Tower of Terror (the drops, the rest of the ride I absolutely love) and Expedition Everest, on the massive hill climb where there's nothing at the side of you. Once, I was sat in the front row and when we got to the top the broken track had been removed from the end leaving a gap, so although the view was lovely it was also terrifying

Space Mountain doesn't so much scare me but it makes me nervous not knowing where we're going, and the fact that it can be really jolty.

And I really don't like the creepy crawlies in It's Tough to be a Bug, but that's cause I went on it as a kid and got freaked out haha :)

Mission: Space for SURE! We're here now and I had my fiancé ride it first to tell me how it was. He said it wasn't bad at all and I really needed to try it. I was having a mini panic attack in line the whole time and there are so many warnings everywhere about the ride! I was so scared and always have been of this ride. I ended up riding it and it wasn't as bad as I was expecting BUT it kind of ruined our night a little because the we were both pretty disoriented after. We ended up leaving the park early and missing Illuminations. So, needless to say, I probably won't be doing this one again!

No Disney rides scare me. I love coasters, dark rides, rides that go upside down. But, I avoid several due to issues with motion sickness on rides that "spin" (like Teacups!) plus Mission Space. I am scared of being sick all day and not enjoying the rest of the parks :)

Mission Space. I love all the other thrill rides, even Dinosaur, but the thought of going to Mission Space after so many people have had serious problems on it, NO WAY!

I probably need to try Dinosaur again... I just have a little PTSD from it 14 years ago.

My wife hated Stitch because of the Chili Dog smell (She was preggers at the time)

My fear of Haunted Mansion lingered from 1993 until 2006 when I found Doom Buggies and got to learn about all of the fascinating elements - pepper's ghost and such. Still think it beats most rides for 'wow' factor. 'Mystic Manor' is the first thing to come close to wow factor even on YouTube.

Expedition Everest was surprisingly suspenseful!
