I have looked and looked on line to find which rides have FOTL access. Can anyone help me. This is our first trip and we want to know if it is worth staying on site. Also, has anyone heard that they are offering free dining August - October?

I thought they all did except for pteranadon flyers but I could be mistaken, the veterans will pop in soon I"m sure!

I haven't heard anything about free dining at Universal...that's a Disney thing.

::yes::

We've only been once, but I don't think we went on a ride that DIDN'T have FTOL access. The rides without it are very few and far between. It's definitely worth it to stay onsite.

It is DEFINITELY worth it to stay at an on-site resort. Me and my sons rode MIB three/four times, and passed the same people still wating in the regular line. Kinda feel sorry for them...but not sorry enough not to go back for another turn! :banana:

I knew I had read that there was free dining. I tried to get this but the Loews hotel would not let me book it???? Does anyone know what I need to do? Also, we have 2 free passes. Will this be a problem? We can get the meal deal for the 2 passes we had to purchase in addition to the two free ones right? They didn't seem to know what I was talking about.

Thanks for the information. My DH & I went to universal alone in 2006 for one day and we purchased FOTL passess. It was NOT for all rides then.

We are very excited to be going!!!

Oh, I didn't realize this! I thought the FOTL pass only gave you FOTL access once per ride and after you used it to get to the front of the line for a ride once, the next time you want to go on that same ride that day you have to wait in the regular line. Learn something new every day! :)

if you buy express pass you only get one turn....if you stay onsite you use your hotel key for it and can ride as many time as you wish.

OOOOO!!!!!! Thank you for this information. We purchased the express pass the last time. I think that was the difference now that you mentioned it. We could only use the pass once for each ride. Thank you for this information. Also, if we leave one park, can we come back into that park without it costing one of our days. I know it is unlimited access but things are very different at universal and I don't want to assume.

My children are very excited to be going to Universal for the first time. Any information is appreciated. Like I stated earlier, my DH and I went in 2006 but we had a one day two park ticket and tried to see as much as we could in both parks before Earth Wind and Fire started their concert. Needless to say, we didn't get to see everything.

unless u get lucky and the attendant doesn't mark your express pass thing. my stepmom was telling me they didnt last time they went, and they rode ROTM until she was dizzy

You can leave and re-enter each park as many times as you want in the same day. We would go to one park in the morning, then head to another in the afternoon and cross back over in early evening for a last ride on our favourites. It's so relaxing to stay on-site, have free access to both parks and all unlimited times on all the rides with Front of the Line.
