I can offer that you view my CSR website below for pics, links and plenty of info. CSR has a great main pool area with a playground, arcade and kiddie pool. You didn't list the ages of your kids but the Dig Site can cater to many ages. Good luck deciding and have a great trip!

Coronado is nice. My DS's had such a good time at the pool, we couldn't pull them away. Port Orleans Riverside is nice. We stayed there last year. The boys got to go cane fishing. We saw a bunch of fish but apparently they weren't hungry. They still had a good time. They also enjoyed the pool. I enjoyed the whirlpool especially with all the walking. I felt enegerized for the next morning. Have fun planning and have a great trip.

I guess it depends on how old your kids are and how much time you plan on spending in your actual room. Most kids love All-Star Movies. There are giant icons of different movie characters such as Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Pongo from 101 Dalmations, Fantasia pool and more. The only time we spend in our room is to sleep and shower so we do not like to "waste" money on our hotel, but it is still very clean, comfortable and nice!

What do you want to do and what is your budget? WDW has options for all tastes and budgets.

Basic "flavors":
Value - Least expensive, small, fairly basic rooms, no sit down resturants, but expansive food courts. Theme pools, but no slides.

Moderate - Slightly bigger rooms, double beds still, usually 1 sit down resturant plus nice food court, more theming in the pool area and pool slides.

Deluxe - Most expensive, queen beds, most offer a daybed (sleeps 5), conceirge level rooms, 2+ sit down resturants, limited food court, closest to the parks, variety of transportation (monorail/bus/boat) except for AKL which only has buses, nice pool areas

Home away from home - DVC (a/k/a, timeshares)

Fort Wilderness Cabins - sleep 6, full kitchen, daily maid service, private cabins (some love, some feel isolated), basic "hotel" style pools, I dont think there is a pool slide,

Where ever you stay, you'll have a wonderful time!

I think its better if you goto the www.waltdisneyworld.com website and look at the different resorts there. Once you have a few picked out then people can help you out. Theres a lot more to picking a resort than just asking a group of Disney freaks!

Thanks for all your advice. We have narrowed it down to Y&BC or BW, but because inlaws may be joining we thought the villa route. I figured the experieced Disney Goers let us know the pro & cons of each. Kids will be 9,8,3,1. So we will be spending time in the room and at the pools so we are looking for the best of both.

With that many people, a villa is your best bet. Consider renting points from a DVC member - it will often be 50% less costly than booking through Disney. Go to the DVC RENT/TRADE board for more info - good luck!

Villa at the Boardwalk for sure!

Boardwalk is my faaaaaaaavorite resort and you will find out why once you're there. There is lots to do in that area (well maybe not LOTS) and youre right in between Epcot and MGM. Also the pool features a 200 ft waterslide, nice jacuzzi and a pool bar for the parents.

Boarwalk gets my vote! :thumbsup

We have a 2 1/2 year old and the last 2 years we have stayed at the BCV. It is awesome. We love it and my dd loves the pool and the slide. It's a nice walk to Epcot and MGM.

You can't go wrong with BCV or BWV. To save a little money, look into renting points on the DVC Board. You will love the location of the Epcot area resorts, especially when you have little kids.
