Which resort for December?

Hi! I am thinking of taking my DD to WDW for MVMCP at the beginning of December. I want to take in all the holiday decor. Which resort is the best decorated and has the most Christmas feel? I am leaning towards WL or my DD would like AKL. Are either of these one of the better decorated? We have AP's so I am hoping to get a better rate, but can afford the value season rate. Thanks!

All the resorts are decorated, and the best is a matter of personal preference.

The Grand Floridian and Wilderness Lodge are huge favorites. One of the fun things to do during the holidays is to visit as many resorts as possible to take in the decorations and the specialty displays of gingerbread houses or carousels and chocolate displays. The Boardwalk has an entire boardwalk out of chocolate complete with roller coaster and ferris wheel.

Stay where you wish to and plan to visit the other resorts. That way you won't miss out on a thing!

we went this past dec for our 1st visit during this time of year, stayed at the WL and loved the decorations there, just the whole feel of the place seemed "christmasy". we visited a lot of the other resorts as well, including AKL and GF but still liked WL the best. it was also nice after mvmcp to walk right down to the dock and ride a boat back to the lodge. we did this twice and didn't wait long either time. whatever you decide, it is a wonderful time of the year to experience disney

We LOVE the WL for Dec. The decor is magnificent and warm...we also love the Christmas decor at GF, it's so romantically decorated.

We stayed this past December at WL. It was awesome. It was truely an amazing experience staying there. That will always be my first pick during the holidays. We visited the BWI, BC, YC, AKL, GF, PR, and CR. I agree with the previous posters on the GF. I also loved the decorations at the BWI and the AKL. They are all great!! You will not be disappointed with the WL. It's so cozy for the time of year you are going
