Which resort CS is best?

One of the nights of our trip in October, we're having family from Orlando meet us for dinner at WDW. It'll be the day we do AK.

The only ADR I could schedule for a group of 10 was Boma at 4:30 PM. Way too early to eat dinner for us, plus, we'd have to miss the parade at AK to get there.

So, it dawned on me -- we don't have to do a TS meal - we could do a CS meal at a resort. It would save my aunt and uncles and cousins a lot of money if we did CS vs. TS. I'm also going to look into TS at a couple DTD restaurants, just in case.

So - who has the best CS food? We're staying at POP. We'll be at AK for the day, so, whatever place we go, we'll go straight there from AK and figure out how to get back to POP later. We stayed at CSR last trip and we did like Pepper Market so we know that is a good option.

Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD is great! Good sized portions and delicious food.

Setting aside my personal biases for Wilderness Lodge...

The resorts with the most extensive selection of CS food are the values (Pop, All Star). The next most extensive selection (and arguably some better selections) is at the moderates. The Deluxes, each with at least two sit-down restaurants, have the poorest CS selections.

So you might be best off at Pop!

That said, why not try Flame Tree at AK, since you'll be there?

Or try for a reservation at Tusker House?
