Which park to do half day?

Hi! I need some advice about my upcoming trip. We are going for a week and have 7 days worth of tickets. On our arrival day I predict us getting to a park around noon or 12:30. We have 2 days in MK, and DHS, 1 in Epcot and AK. So my question is......where should I go on our arrival half day? We've been to the parks a few times in the last few years so the only ride we've never done is REMY. I originally thought to do a half day in AK but I'm second guessing it now bc I feel like we can accomplish that park in one full day. What are your opinions?

Maybe Epcot? I feel like in the past, Epcot was a great last minute option for an extra day just to have fun. Wander a bit more in the exhibits in World Showcase, eat more random stuff, hang out in Club Cool for a while, actually watch The American Adventure stage show.....

I always have to start at MK but you go more often and the only ride you haven’t done is Remy so I would do Epcot and get an ILL for Remy if possible.

I like Epcot for half days. I basically pick either the front or back of the park to focus on, rather than doing the whole thing.

We always do Epcot on arrival day. You can knock out a few rides (stack genie+ if you are getting it) & eat a nice dinner. Epcot to me has a relaxed vibe so it’s a nice way to start. 🙂

It's hard for me to say Epcot especially if you want to go around the world and look in all the shops. I still feel even with Pandora, Animal Kingdom is still at least a half day park.

In your scenario, I would definitely do the additional half day at Epcot. For me, AK just doesn't have enough to warrant multiple days and you already have two planned for MK and HS. I can easily get more enjoyment out of extra time at Epcot than AK.

Another vote for EPCOT. I like this one because I feel like I can walk a bit more freely and stretch my legs after a day of travel (as long as you aren't arriving on a weekend). Also, I don't like to eat or drink much on my travel day while I'm traveling, so walking around EPCOT gives me some good variety to refuel myself with.

Yes, you'll be able to do all you want at AK in one day, IMO. Epcot is huge and takes a lot of time to get around. It's so beautiful at night and you probably haven't seen Harmonious or Beacon of Magic nighttime lights yet. Also, the front of the park in Epcot has more rides and is less crowded in the afternoon/evening than in the morning. So I'd definitely choose to spend your arrival afternoon/evening in FW (or whatever it's called now).

That gives you 2 evenings in Epcot - 1 to see Harmonious and 1 to get in line for Remy near closing time, if you weren't able to do it earlier. If the forecast for the full day at Epcot includes evening rain and Harmonious may be cancelled, see it on your first night. On your full day in Epcot, you can fill in whatever FW attractions you missed and take your time through WS. Evening in Epcot is an awesome way to start your vacation!

Wow! Thanks! Epcot was not even on my radar for a half day! I thought most people would sway me toward HS! After all your advice, I’ve changed my plans! An evening grazing through WS and stacking genie+ LL all day seems like a great start to vacation! Thanks!!
