Which moderate resort would you choose?

So, the choices we're debating between are Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, or the two Port Orleans. The rates are great for when we're going, and I just would like to know which of these you would choose and why.

I've driven through all of them and am equally impressed with all of them. I LOVED the Pepper Market at Coronado Springs, but I don't just want to base my decision on that.

FYI, it will just be two adults, me and my best college friend. No kids at all.

THANKS!

Having stayed at CBR, I can say what a beautiful resort it truly is. As far as the others, we've had dinner with friends at POR as well as got to see their room and walked around the resort and what we saw was very nice as well. We were going to stay there on our next trip, but decided at the last minute to stay at the Poly. Have a great time.

I have stayed at both CSR and CBR. I really, really disliked CBR and won't be returning. We even tried to switch resorts while we were there. It had bad buses, bad service, and a confusing layout. (although i've read many reviews where people really enjoyed CBR so maybe I just went at a bad time)

However, I loved CSR. The resort is beautiful and doesn't seem as confusing as CBR. I stayed in Casitas 1 building and we had about a 3 minute walk to the main building and eating areas, which my friends and I found to be really nice. The buses were never really crowded and the main pool is very cool.

I have visited Port Orleans FQ and it seems pretty small and quiet, which is nice. Plus, it has a boat that can take you to downtown disney. However, I can't comment on anything else since I have actually stayed there.

I would suggest CSR. Good luck and have fun!

POFQ it has the best design, food, pool, and its the most relaxing of the moderates IMO.

I have only stayed at POFQ. We really liked it. It was a smaller resort and didn't feel very crowded. I also believe the buses pick up at POFQ before POR.

We like POR of all the Mod's.

we stayed at POR and were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the AB section, and the grounds were spacious and as lovely as a retreat center. The food court was excellent as well.

I've stayed at POFQ twice and love the place. It's small and only has 7 buildings. It's biggest plus is it has its own bus stop at MK in the evening. It does share buses with POR, but it is picked up and dropped off first at the parks. Keep in mind there are only 4, counting POFQ, when picking up POR. It's the same number as CSR. CBR has 7. The food court has beignets, yum.

Pepper Market adds on 10% for finding you a table and getting refills for your drink, eventually. I've stayed at CSR and didn't care for it. You are either close to the food court or the pool.

CBR and the AB section of POR do not have elevators.

Both PO's have live entertainment. POFQ-Elliot Dyson at Scat Cats and Bob the Entertainer at POR.

POFQ only has one pool, but you can enjoy the pool at POR as well as the quiet pools there too.

I have only stayed at POFQ and CSR. While the rooms were great at both locations, I really did not care for the Pepper Market at CSR. Mediocre food and I don't care for the 10% addition to the bill. My choice would be POFQ.

Last year my family stayed at CSR. We loved it. The room size was fine for the 4 of us, the rooms were clean, the resort was quiet, the pool was GREAT, I believe I read somewhere that CSR has the largest hot tub of all the resorts, the grounds are beautiful, the Pepper Market was okay - nothing to write home about, and the bus service was fantastic. Plus CSR doesn't share busses with any other resort....it just travels around and picks up from the few bus stops at the resort and then it is on its' way. We loved it and would recommend it. Where ever you end up I am sure it will be excellent!!

Of the Modereates I've only stayed at CBR and POFQ. CBR is the only Disney hotel I would not return to. I didn't like anything about it at all.
I loved POFQ. It is a small beautifully themed resort. Our room was great. We had a view of the River and were close to the Food Court and the Bus stop. I would return to POFQ in a heartbeat.

I've stayed at CBR twice. I do not care for it at all. I have not stayed at CSR, so I can't comment on it other than the pictures that I've see are beautiful. I really like POR and POFQ with POFQ being my favorite. I like the size of it along with the gardens, fountains, and relaxed atmosphere.

CBR is our favorite. I have stayed at POR, CSR, and always return to CBR. I didn't care for the Pepper Market at CSR with the mandatory 10% tip.

We like CBR. I have pictures below if you are interested.

Stayed at CBR once and POR four times. I did not like CBR at all and I really can't put my finder on why. I love the grounds at POR and love staying in AB, that is my favorite area. Boatwrites serves good sitdown meals and the walk from AB to the food court is nice and relaxing.

CSR is our favorite and we love the Pepper Market. Stayed at POR in the Magnolia section and it was great. We went back and were in AB. It was awful, too far away to do anything even though we had requested close in since my mother is 80. She was basically trapped in the room at the resort. And the room wasn't clean, housekeeping was awful. We've scratched POR off of our list for now. I'm thinking of trying CBR for our spring trip.

We stayed at CBR (5 times) and POR (1 time). We love everything about CBR! We had poor bus service the year we went to POR and we never went back.

CSR! Best transportation (not shared), best pool and slide and best food options. Check out my CSR website below for pics and info.

ps - Depending on when you are going, the main pool at CBR will be closed 1/08 to 6/08. They do have quiet pools.
