Which is your favorite DVC resort?

We just got back from BCV and had an awesome time. Our home is VWL and that is where we have always stayed. We missed the quiet of the lodge but really enjoyed the BCV. It's better for the kids and location. We also stayed at OKW once. We decided that our favorite out of the three is the VWL because of the relaxing feel it has and we love the boat ride to MK. Which is your favorite DVC resort and why?

VWL is my favorite, BCV second, BWV third, OKW 4th, Vero 5th, HH 6th, and Saratoga 7th.

Although if I got a Beach Cottage at Vero, that might bump it up higher.

Ask my oldest daughter and son-in-law this question, and they'd put the Epcot resorts first.

This may sound a little one sided, but our fav is VWL also. We own there, which makes it a little easier to choose. But we too enjoy the relaxing feel of it.
OKW is very relaxing and laid back. We would enjoy staying there again. SSR is a wonderful resort as well. BCV, we have stayed at once and looking forward to going back next May when it is warm enough to try out Stormalong Bay. It was just too cold this past Jan, IMO. BWV or VB, we have never tried. But look forward to trying both someday. This Sept we are going to HH 1st time.

Ahh, the beauty of DVC ownership! All these nice resorts and so little time, 2042 to be exact

Hilton Head!! On site park favorite would be Wilderness Lodge, but we have never tried BWV yet.

Another Hilton Head fan. We love WDW but its a very different, relaxing vacation at Hilton Head.

Our favorite DVC resort is SSR.

Our favorite DVC WDW resorts is SSR but...

We love BWV because of its location.

We love the room size at OKW.

We love VB because it's right on the ocean.

We love the relaxing atmosphere at HHI.

We haven't stayed at VWL or BC.

All of the DVC resort have their own unique qualities about them and we enjoy staying at each one of them.

We have only stayed at SSR (as members), so we cant really compare them. But here is what we like :

VWL - The theme is great! We stayed at Wilderness Lodge a few years back, and it was one of the reasons we decided to join. We love it there - and want to stay as members soon

BC & BWV - Our favorite park is Epcot (now that we have a 2 yr old, that will change), and have our first stay booked at BWV this fall. We love this location.

SSR - We have stayed twice. We love the look, having the golf course right on site, the quiet, and being so close to DTD.

Honestly - each resort has a certain charm, all are great in our book. We hope to stay at them all at some point!

Boarkwalk!!!

I just love the atmosphere of it. I loved sitting out on the balcony and watching everyone and watching illuminations from our room.

Having 3 restaurants, a bakery, a pizza take out, and ice cream/candy store, etc etc right outside our door. And then another 15 + restaurants 1/2 mile away.

Luna Park and the roller coaster slide is just too cool! I had to go on it!!

I always say VWL or OKW are my favs and then we stay someplace else that is also really great! So I love them ALL! Like them all for different reasons and different seasons.

Right now I could really use a HHI trip--agree w/ Cindy. It is really special.

PS-Cindy -pix of the boys looks great! They have gotten so big since the 2005 Member cruise!

There's absolutely no doubt that my favorite DVC resort is whichever one I happen to be staying in. Having stayed at all of them, I can honestly say they are all fine resorts and I'm never disappointed if I can't reserve at my first (or second) choice. We always find a way to maximize our vacation experience by utilizing the benefits of the resort we're staying at. Our reservation preferences are usually based on our planned activities, and not on a specific resort. So I say "all of 'em"!
