Which Hotel?

Just a quick question on what hotels can you photograph Wishes from? Thanks. What would be the best one also?

I'm sure you can see it and photograph it from the Contemporary, the Grand Floridian and the Polynesian. Maybe from the Wilderness Lodge.

I've taken some shots from the balcony of the Contemporary -- which is as close as you can get in a hotel.

On a hunch, though, the prettiest shots might come from the Poly, which has a gorgeous view of the castle.

I've gotten my best shots on the beach between the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian. The beach directly behind the Polynesian has an island in front of it that can obscure the castle.

I did some Wishes shots from that beach at the Polynesian a couple trips ago. I thought that it was a decent location (though I wonder if the Electric Water Pageant passed by with the lights off during it - a few of the shots have the horizontal black lines that you can see in this picture.)

This was right on the main Poly beach, we were just visiting. You can get to it pretty easily, just take the monorail or bus to the Polynesian and walk through the lobby to the beach out back.

Yes, it is easily accessible from either hotel, and you won't have the island obscuring the castle. My picture on the first page of the photography contest thread this week was taken from that spot. You can just see the island I'm talking about in the lower right corner. If you were on the beach directly behind the Polynesian, it would block your view.
