I feel bad when I see that happen as well. It makes me wonder why people can't just simply answer the question: "Yes and here's why" or "No and here's why not" and let that be the end of it. Instead people have to get personal with it and inject their personal views, opinions, preferences and rules into the reply.

When I first joined here I waited a long time before posting because I was afraid someone was going to crucify me for saying the wrong thing or asking a stupid question.

I know!! You can assert your opinion without having to make other people out to be creeps!!

I have a question about tipping mousekeeping, and I want answers from people who do it. BUT, I am totally scared to ask because I don't want people to be ugly! And now I just read in this thread that you can only post about tipping in the one tipping thread. My question is from reading that thread, and I think it would be more helpful if it was not mixed in with all the other stuff. Oh, well.

This is the best thread (and funniest) ever! Shoot, it reminds me of how we can all get along, like Walt wanted us too...

I dont know what the problem is....I always use my refillable mug year after year. It affords us great refreshment during the slow paced times in October when we take our kids out of school for two weeks. Our family of five always stays in one room at the CBR and we just love visiting Stormalong Bay. My DD is eleven, but she clearly looks nine, so we always pay the child's price for her on the dining plan. On our last trip we did not take advantage of ME and found a great strategy for touring. One of us would get in line while the other four would do another ride and then they would simply catch up to the one in line. It saved so much time. Doesn't everyone do these things?

i voted other, and the one that i think people jump on most is "fat/obese people using scooters", and as a side note, i notice that if you don't have a lot of posts, the people that have thousands of posts react as if you are the red-headed stepchild:lmao: but i gotta admit, it is so funny to see!!!

I voted "other" as I saw a thread about the not getting up for children on the bus thread yesterday..and was like..ouch.. these people definitely have different opinions. :rolleyes1

LOL. Whew - at least you did not admit to liking the Nescafe coffee.

I had my list of naughty "to do's" a few posts back. Don't forget to mow down the young ones with your 11 yo in her stroller. Also, we plan to be at HS at rope drop, bee line it to TSM to ride the ride and get a fastpass for us to use later while one of us is saving a spot in line for FANTASMIC. Hey if we dont use our 8 fastpasses, which had a return time of 10 am, by the time the park closes we will keep them as souvenirs.

I also just remembered the thread where someone mentioned drinking around the World at Epcot and good gosh some people in that thread got really personal. Calling the OP a drunk or an alchie and people were getting angry about all those times they saw really really drunk people around Epcot and how they thought it was so outrageous.

Just remembered another one.

Single parents (ESPICALLY mothers) are not allowed in Disney. How dare they travel alone with their children, oh the outrage. Sometimes those get so nasty I feel like some might keep social services # for the area on speedial on thier cell.

What was the argument against single moms taking children. (As a child of a single mom who was happy we went!):rotfl:

Oh I do love the Nescafe coffee...I put it in my 2000 refillable mug and mix it with the free ice water while I eat off the toppings bar as salad...to save time I do this with one hand while I push my DS, age 17 around in his stroller. I need to save his little legs.

how about it doesn't matter if pins are fakes, because disney has to take them? :rotfl:Sorry. I had to laugh. You were the last poster on both of my current subscribed threads, and I about went down someone's throat on the other!

LOL It's just been one of those days. Fridays are my frisky days. :rotfl:
